A vintage motorcycle found in a Three Kings veggie patch is attracting a flurry of interest on the auction website Trade-Me.
More than 3000 people have viewed the auction since owner Karen Amor listed it on Sunday night.
She put a $1 reserve on the bike and bids were up to $121 on Wednesday morning and the auction had 160 watchers.
"It’s absolutely unreal. We put it up at about 8.30pm on Sunday and within half an hour there were 80 views."
Ms Amor discovered the motorcycle in April while digging a veggie patch in her lawn.
Although rusted, it was fairly well preserved and is most likely a British model from 1929 to 1932.
It attracted huge interest when it was published in the Central Leader, but no one has been able to positively identify the make.
"There’s so much indecision about what it could be," says Ms Amor.
"Most people think it’s a BSA."
People have posted questions and remarks on the auction, some joking about whether the bike runs on flower power and others giving suggestions about its origins.
