Does anyone have a good alternate route from MCS to Hell?

I know some nice rides to Hell, we can adjust if we need to move along or just enjoy. North Territorial is nice, Hines to Seven Mile to Whitmore Lake to Strawberry Lake is nice, I96/M14 will get you there quick and you can jump off at Huron River Drive at Ann Arbor or other places.

I'll be in Canton at I275 and Michigan Avenue.
McDonalds 40241 Michigan Ave just past 275
I'll be there 11:15 and I'll keep my eyes open.

Blue Angels and such, airshow at Willow Run Airport Noon-3 tomorrow.
Watch out for B2 flyby!!

Good to know that the Air Force sent a Stealth out to welcome GZ back to the US!...  Or did they send it just in case GZ goes a little wild??

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Great Start on your journey!  Planned arrival in the UP on the 28th?  I will be at Cycle X in the PM on the 29th and will meet with you at Wellington MI or Presque Isle WI along Hwy 64 south of Gogebic Lake.  If another location just let me know.   Probably me on my stock 750K3 along with Hoodelyhoo on his 350/4.  My cell is 920-698-0525 when I am travelling.........or home is 920-528-7402.

You name the time for Saturday and let me know................I will confirm with Kenny.

We should plan to leave Cycle X early on Sunday .............maybe 75 miles before breakfast..........then through the Menomonee Indian Reservation to Keshena Falls..........through Slab City ..........a stop at Lambeau Field............Road America and my place.  About 260 miles or longer if you want to travel along Lake Michigan from Manitowoc to Sheboygan.

We can take a 30-mile round trip near my home for some Kettle Moraine Twisties........then into Milwaukee on Monday to meet my handoff with ZanVooden at noon.....about 60 miles of back roads.

That works well, since I live just north of the Chicago border I can still get home Monday night and have a day to recuperate before I am back to work on Wednesday.

Hey Dennis!

Let's make the meet up in Presque Lake. You can then escort us to Cycle-X for the official hand off ceremony with Kenny's shop in the background.

What would be a good time to meet?  It's about 200 miles (maybe a bit less) from Copper to Presque. Figure we'll need to leave Copper 4 hours before the meet up

While you're making our hand-off plans, don't forget that the southwestern UP and Wisconsin are running on Central Time!

Yes, I was the one who ate pavement on M119.   ;D
Fortunately I am fine and feeling much better now that I've had a day of rest.  My bike is still ride-able, but needs some TLC before she can be seen in public again.
