I live off of 195 and there is rarely traffic that would have you do under 50mph at any given time.

Well it does wander around a bit. I simply punched in where I believed you lived and let the machine figure it out. It does need a bit of refinement. It is a start, you fellas know the roads better than I do.

Bobby,  is there a reason to go west and then back east?  I can get riders from Dover to NY in a day or two, had emailed you a tentative route. I live maybe 50 miles west of Philly and the same north of Dover...Larry

What's the story on the MD to DE ride?  I can't get the links to work, but I live in Frederick and might be up for it.  Who's coming up to MD and where are they hitting the state?  Headed to north DE (Newark/etc) or south DE?

There seems to be somewhat of a void in the western Pa and Md route. I have volunteered to pick up at the Ohio border (if they ever decide where that will be) and carry it eastward. I thought it made sense to drop down into Md so it could be carried into DC and then east to Newark De area. I have not seen anyone from DC area volunteer, but I may be wrong. I could bring it to you in the Frederick area if you could carry it along from there.

Paul, that is great. Photolar is somewhere down near the Del border, so this could work. I better go into the MD thread and see if we can scare up a handoff for you. If you want to take a stab at Google maps and see what makes sense for you and post it. We can start to build a route.  Thanks man. I think I have NYC nailed down and we have guys scattered through NJ. PA is gonna be a challenge sice we have a lot of riders widely spaced apart.

OK, here's my rough map. It shows the start (A)in Pittsburgh because I have no idea yet where the Oh/Pa handoff will be yet. I plan to stop at the Flight 93 Memorial (B) as this is the 10 year aniversary of attack, from there east to Breezewood and south to the handoff in Md......(Frederick?)

Hey everyone, sine I'm in Lititz, PA, I'm planning to catch up with the ride somewhere in PA.  I like the route from Pittsburgh - have to go on 30 for the history.  Personally I abhor highway riding, so when it comes back into PA, I'm more in favor of the route I saw suggested some time ago that went up 82 and then across to NJ through Bucks County above Trenton or all the way up through the Delaware Water Gap, but that pushes some of the NJ riders really far north to connect up the ride.

BTW, SOHC/4 #2, Bruce Giller, lives near DC and still has his 750F.  He rides a Moto Guzzi these days, but I know he's been talking about getting the 750F back on the road; I'll see if I can convince him to join in this ride.  There were a number of other fairly active members of this group around the DC/MD/VA areas back in the old days.

I added a destination to the map as a strawman. We have Norstudio (Scott) in NYC who will take IT through NYC.

The Northern NJ riders can probably get IT to Ft Lee NJ and Scott take IT into NYC. That would bring it onto the east bank of the Hudson River which is fine. We also have 736CC over in Queens NY who could take it out into Long Island or if he wishes ride with Scott.

I can pick IT up on the East or West Bank of the Hudson and move him up through Westchester County and into Orange County. We have an opportunity to have IT visit Woodstock NY.

If we can get him through Pa and into Jersey/NY. I can work out the NY and into New England details. I realize we will need to  each State's riders to map out their routes and logistics. We are smart enough to make this work.

Glenn, I suggested route 82 and then either through Jersey or on up towards De Water Gap.   Going up 95  ::)would almost make me not want to ride. I do not live all that far from you, West Grove.  FWIW, there is a vintage motorcycle auction coming up in
April at Bunch Auction in Chadds Ford.  Maybe see you soon, Larry

I'm a bit late on the response, but I'm in DC and up for the ride.
