Thanks to Nikkisixx and crew meeting up with Gary a day early we're able to bump the next handoff to tomorrow and beat the crappy weather.  My wife is VERY thankful guys.  See ya tomorrow Gary.

I just got in from taking the handoff in Roanoke.  Beat the rain/snow but probably won't get feeling back in my fingers for at least an hour.  Only spent the first hour return home on the parkway then had to hit the highway.  At least 10 degrees difference.  Also, just for those that don't know about the blue ridge parkway, there are TONS of small overpasses that are not exactly level with the road surface (bump or dip) but they blend in so you don't notice them until about 1/10 second before your ass gets rammed into your neck (at least for those of us with original shocks that are basically useless).  Was a nice ride just the same.  Time for a Hot Toddie.

Actually, Godzilla got a head start and was in Daytona for bike week on 3/11 AND 3/12 making the trip to Savannah on 3/12 continuing on to Blufton, also on 3/12, putting Godzilla in Blufton on 3/12 and 3/13. Later riders will have to confirm the rest.

Well, they weren't kidding about us getting snow.  Godzilla was pretty tired from this weekend's trip so enjoyed a little coffee while looking out at the mess, tried to play with the dog (who wasn't impressed) and then took a moment to catch up on some quality reading.  Note to those who will have him visit later, he DOES NOT like to be interrupted while "reading".  The last pic is from Roanoke.  I stopped by a friend's house and he had a sunbather.  Godzilla couldn't help but make friends.

Because of the weather, the three of the items on the 3/26 list were removed.

There was a mad dash on 3/25 from Charlotte to Fancy Gap VA.  I believe the details are in the Godzilla sightings thread.  Check for posts from Nikkisix regarding the actual handoff in VA.

Yep, Blueridgerunner picked Godzilla up on 3/25 in Fancy Gap and I met him on 3/26 in Roanoke and came back to Charlottesville.  Still plan for the 4/2 handoff in Williamson unless the weather takes a nasty turn.  Looks to be a chance of rain but no snow so should be fine.

Looks like we're moving the next handoff to Sunday due to the weather forecast on Saturday (snow with a high of 40).  Sunday should be a nicer ride.  Looks like Tretnine will be able to join me for the haul.  Here's the route we'll be taking if anyone's interested.  Should be very scenic.
