I put new gromets in my CB750K1, and when it,s time to remove the sidecovers I gently pry it out with a screwdriver, one lug at a time. That way it's easier to control the force you are exerting. Never had problems.

I didn't get the owner's Manual with the bike...wish I had! Been looking on E-bay...no 77 yet though.
Strange...but the fuse box definitely shows a two 5 amps and one 7 amp. It's cast into the plastic holder under each fuse.
I'll try and take a picture. The don't get hot and haven't blown?
I put some Cork Lube on the rubber grommets for the side covers...that makes them work much better...they are still pretty pliable...but I'm sure new ones would be better. The cork lube is a super slick Heavy silicone lube used in labs for glass stoppers...
Maybe I'm just overly cautious...one of the side covers has been repaired where it was cracked and I don't want to break it.
Seems to be a very common problem with these bikes. Did get a small LED flashlight to go under the seat...uses one aaa battery and pust out a remarkable amount of light. Doesn't have the flexible neck though...that looks like a very good idea.
I did look more closely at the rectifier...it is a diode type...so that is cool. This bike is pretty unmolested...all the wiring and such still have all the cable ties etc are still in place...I need to take lots of pictures before I tear it down to make sure I get things back in the correct places.

Download owner's manuals here -->>
http://www.honda4fun.com/libretti/libretti.html
LOTS & LOTS of info available of the honda4fun website. It helps to be able to read Italian though.

I worked on Ferraris and Fiats for a few years...so I read Italian wiring diagrams pretty well!
One of my favorites from an English translation of the Masserati Bora manual...
Regarding tightening the cam chain tensioner...they say they should be tightened "with a certain vigor" I always wondered exactly how many Lb/FT a certain vigor was!
Thanks for the info!

Clarify: The downloads (manuals) are in english, it's the website that is in Italian.

Hey Cs...thanks for the link...downloaded the manual yesterday and printed it out...It will be a help I'm sure
I went back and checked and if you look REALLY REALLY close...the main fuse is 15 amp...
The 1 is just barely visible...the 5s and 7s are very clear...That does make more sense.
Went ahead and cleaned the clips for the fuses with the dremell scotchbrite pad...that worked great...polished them up nicely...
they were actually pretty shiny already, it didn't take long.
