Its about 200 miles to Brewster from here. I could be there by 1pm. I'm confirmed with this happening. I got the go ahead from the wife and everything.

Seems like a fair meeting place then. About the same distance for both of us.

Alright, this is what's actually happening.

tlbranth, his wife, my wife and I are meeting Frank in Okanogan at 1:30ish tomorrow.

Terry, I know we decided on Omak but Okanogon makes more since for the hand off because it's smaller and should be easier to meet with Frank.

Wish us luck.

Hand off to Frank completed at 2:30pm today. I'm not getting a very strong signal where we're staying tonight. I'll try to post pics but I'm not sure it'll work.

BC boys and girls... please fill me in on what's happening.  I've been away from the board and don't have a lot of time to dig through threads...  I'm still willing to go to Alaska (weather permitting) but I'm not available until October 4th.

Thanks!

Don, that would be fantastic (weather permitting). That would be worth waiting for to send GZ to New Zealand!
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I do plan on riding over to meet 754 and bringing it over to Vancouver Island.  Weather forecast for this week is not good and there is a mountain range to get over for me or him. We need 2 days of good weather to go.  If the weather patterns change, I can get out of here, but I think 754 is content to keep it for a few days for some photos as well.

Not sure Alaska that time of year is even conceivable, but I can get it to you for sure. :)

Are you saying Seaweb, you would come up to here ?? (depending on weather)
I was trying to find out how far you wanted to travel, and did not hear back.
1080 here might be able to take it partway, but only on a weekend. Getting tougher for me to get away, unless I pick up some work.
Friday is supposed to be 27 here, but today it did not get over 20..last night was down to 4 or less.
If its cooler, splitting the distance makes it a lot easier. I would have enjoyed taking it to Vancouver if it was warmer.

To do this I would go to Van, spend the night and then do a run to meet up. If the weather is clear, I'll be happy to ride towards you, to you...?
Court next Monday to see if my soon to be ex-wife is successful in having me evicted from my house, so with that and the weather, I'm more looking at mid - late next week.  :o

Damn, now I wish I wasn't working so I could go to Kelowna, if Alaska isn't possible then I would miss out on Godzilla all together.  Seaweb, my parents live in Nanaimo, so maybe I could cross over and pick up Godzilla there, and maybe take him up to Comox, across the pond and down the sunshine coast, back to Van.

Are there any other Vancouver riders? Surely I'm not the only one...

or I could do Nanaimo to Victoria, and get him to the post office...  He should probably destroy the capital on his way out of the country.

I guess this settles any Alaska plans...

"Heavy rains earlier this month caused flooding that wiped out the only highway between Stewart and the rest of the province.".  Big ass storms coming next week for the North.
