Glad you guys made it safe and sound back home! Sean, how many miles did you cover? I'm trying to keep track of miles with club-mans/clip-ons. How about you, breeze? What kind of bars were you running?

Glad you guys had fun  ;D

I know what you mean about Sean and the twisties. I did a lot of serious foot board scraping on my Fat Boy watching his tail light disappear into the trees on the northern stretches of Hwy 1 before it intersects with 101 a few years back. It was a blast. Turned into a riding lesson for me, tossing that 800lb crotch rocket back and forth continuously.  ;D

Guess if you guys have withdrawals you can always head to the Team PNW ride  ;D
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

2,095 total trip miles with the Laverda clubmans, Scottly. 1,038 on the Godzilla route, and 325 with 'zilla strapped on.

Got home safe and sound last night just in time for sunset. About 350 miles carrying Godzilla, 666 miles riding on the relay and a grand total of 1,388 round trip miles. Whew! Can't wait to do it again. I love it when a plan comes together.
So much to do, so little time.

And a damn fine job of it, Matt. I'll finish mine up tomorrow. A real blast riding with ya over 3 days, and am real glad you decided last minute to ride into Fernley, NV.

I'd actually been planning on doing at least part of that leg all along. I decided at the last minute NOT to. Apparently common sense slept in the next morning and I got up and rode anyway. :) It was really awesome riding with you guys. Sean, you increased my confidence on the slab about a thousand percent. I used to avoid it like the plague. Mooshie, I love your comment about "self talk"! I know exactly what you mean. I, too, was watching Sean not get blown all over the road and trying to convince myself that if he could stay in one lane, so could I.
So much to do, so little time.

Sorry I missed the CA ride. I've been laid up the lat few weeks  after my surgery. Big disappointment for me. Gerry, how did it go?

Greg wonders if Godzilla is a boy or a girl. -

And I am still none the wiser.  What are you supposed to look for?

Sean and Greg having a little Brokeback moment. -

Hey!  Some moments are meant to be private.

I'm back home tonight after handing off Godzilla to Jerry, Terry, Craig, and Steve at Spanish Fork, UT this afternoon around 2PM.  They then headed east.

Thanks to Sean, Matt and Fred for being to willing to hang around Fernley for an extra day if I got held up by the weather.  Much appreciated and it was great to meet you guys.  And a big thanks to Fred for being willing from the start to come out to Fernley.  It helped me out.  I'll get a ride report out soon.  Lots of pics.

I will have to get in on the next ride guys. Sounds like a blast though! Mike I have my headlight and running taillights hooked up on my bike, so I can ride it out to your place. I am anxious to get my electrical working, so that I can get this groundpounder out on the road fulltime!

Ha, very true.  Barely escaped that fate myself.

I'm working on the ride report.  Photobucket is being difficult.
