I'll PM you my cell number. 6/18 is Mods vs Rockers in Connecticut so that is a must do, great photo ops. I will be available to hand off to the RI crew on 6/19 at The Vanilla Bean Cafe in Pomfret CT.  If the dates don't work out for some reason, I can adjust my schedule.

Ok this will push the Canadian Border crossing back by a week.....

So that would make the New Brunswick crossing Saturday July 2nd?

Yes but I am also open to ideas/suggestions....I know its difficult when we are all only weekend riders.

Well, it is what it is.  I'll put the word out to my riders to adjust accordingly.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

This means that I can attend my graduation on the 18th.  I was planning on missing it to make the ride.  Darn.

Guys, I hate to be the time frame killer. Its tough when we only ride distance on weekends.

What would be best for my northern New England mates?  I can deliver "it" on 6/18 but Mods vs Rockers will be missed. Midweek handoff is almost impossible with my work hours. I could do it though.  If we had more CT riders, I could hand off and maybe that would speed things up. So far it looks like I'll be riding solo.

Let me know what is best for the group.

Wouldn't a little later be nicer/warmer weather for the northern states/Canada?

I'll be in Lake George NY for Americade 6/7-6/10, handoff there? Probably not a good time frame since the Rhinebeck bike show is that following weekend 6/10-6/12 when Andy will get the handoff and some great photos I'm sure.

then week later its Rhinebeck, NY (11/12th) and handing it over to the CT riders - WHO STILL HAVE TO CONTACT ME!!!

cheers
Andy

Andy, I'm here. Just watching the thread daily for any other CT riders.  I'll be taking the handoff 6/12 from you in Oxford, we just need to pick the place and time.

Hi CB...Bigko(Ken) here.  As long as its good for Andy, our coordinator, I can meet 6/19 for the pickup in Pomfret...Andy I'm here and most likely will ride with you into Vt.............Cheers!!!!!!!!!

Can't you all just quit your jobs for the month?  It's just a job and you need a new one anyway.  This relay will look so good on your resumé!  ;)

Sure D.R. Cupcake I'd love to! So this is my proposed route. Keep in mind, I can hand off to RI anytime, I live close to the border, so this route is very tentative. 233 miles, 6.5 hrs riding, all awesome roads. Points of interest, (B) Mogegan Sun casino, the only thing tourists come to CT for, (C) Devils Hopyard, way cool road, best photos. (D) Gilette's Castle, yep a real castle, what else does a fire breathing lizard destroy? (E) Home, (F) Waterford Speedbowl, tied for longest continously run short track in America, they have 100' drags for bikes on Friday nites. (G) 6/18 Mods vs Rockers, (h) Vanilla Bean Cafe or any other desired drop off point. All these rods are great, no hiways.

73Nancy - if you dont have a passport we can just hand it off to Jason at the border and decide from there either camp somewhere in Maine or ride home. Camping sounds good to me though.

I have been told that if you don't have a passport, you can sign a waiver that it good for 48 hours. My buddy did it a couple of weeks ago to see his mom in Maine.

That would be most excellent.  Keep me posted on where you're coming from and I can ride south and meet up with you.
Who's up for riding with me after that?  033A2?  Keene, Nh?  Other Vermonters?
I can ride during the week to make up some time for everyone downstream, but it would suck to do it solo.  I certainly don't want to leave anyone out by doing that, either.  I can move it around during the week, take pictures and then take it north for a hand off the next weekend.

I'm still looking for a list of riders to meet up with in Vermont for the Vt to Nh leg.  Anyone?  Bueller?  Am I going to be the only one in the state to represent?  A guy named Cupcake?   I can do it solo but I could just mail it to New Hampshire and save the time and energy.  (Just kidding) :D

The best place to meet for pics is at Hogback mountain lookout.  From there we can scream back down 9 and pick up 30 and head northwest towards Burlington and Lake Champlain.  I know that we could take rt 100 from Wilmington but I've been on that stretch a lot and it really is sucky-bumpy until you hit 30.  I know a few backroad/cut-offs that are pretty cool that can cut corners.  I just really love rt. 9 though.

Earlier conversations suggested that "IT" will climb Mt. Washington.  Handoff can be at the border.  I've never been there so I'd like to make that run regardless.  I can bring IT to NH if there is no one else that can make the run.  We are supposed to be coordinating here so let's get it going.  It is time to volunteer to be the IT receiver.

Who should I consider the handoff person for NH?  Keep in mind that IT will be hitting the border mid state since IT wants to ride the Kancamangus.  Any other ideas would be awesome.
