Yes on staying dry here in Seattle, it helps to have good rain gear.
I got caught in a rain storm last week and the pockets on my fair weather
biker jacket that were not secured by snaps filled up with water.

Me thinks we need to wear life jackets for proper winter bike gear around here!  I think my tank is done with the painting I can't wait to put it back on the bike. If we're lucky we may get some decent riding weather in february like the last two winters.

RU staying in town for Christmas? We're heading for Homer AK. Guaranteed to have a white winter. Happy Holidays.

Yes on life jackets the weather is out of control. I'm wearing rain gear full time even if it looks like I do not need to, I learned my lesson after being soaked in sheet rain last week while being stuck in traffic down in the Port.

Are you going to coat the inside of the tank before installation ?

February riding weather ! I'm ready ! As soon as the weather gets back to normal I'm going back over to Vashion Island to seek out the Madrone forest.

I'm staying in town this holiday ? I'm installing a chrome chain guard on my 550 that Santa gave me :-) . Have a good time in AK - dress warm. I used to live in Anchorage.  Happy Holidays to you.
