BUT, it might rain, someone might not get off work and someones bike might break down. No guarantees. I can't make definite promises except I will do everything in my power to get it to Chicago on the fourth day. Thats two states I'm taking responsibility for, two days each. It appears my brother and I are taking two to three 750's. I'll be riding one and one or two will be on the back-up vehicle for a good portion of the way. I hope that helps, it's the best I can do.

So Chicago on the 14th, photo ops there. Head to Indy on the morning of the 15th, meet at the raceway. On the 16th, off to Cinci. Up to Toledo on the 17th, Cleveland on the 18th. One more night in Eastern OH or Western PA (19th) then handoff to Team Mid-Atlantic at noon at a place to be determined on the 20th.

Does that sound about right? Do you have riders for each segment? Anyone offering a place to flop? Need any pad days in there?

can prolly flop on the couch here. couple cheap hotels around too. any way we can push toledo to the 19? will be hard for me to get days off in the middle of the week. one more thing will anyone be riding with me cincy to cleveland?

I know Indy was wanting more time with the G-Man. Say add two pad days to Indy. Then run GZilla to Cinci on the 18th and Toledo on the 19th? As an outsider, I can only make suggestions. Y'all need to look at what is reasonable for you.

Guys, I'm planning to pick IT up in Sharon Pa (Ohio line) and then head east to Greensburg. Then head east to Pa/Md line to hand IT off in the Hancock area so IT can head down to DC. I have room at my place for overnight guests if anyone wants to ride along either direction.

I've been to the quaked steak in sharron a few time for car meets. I do enjoy their wings a lot. I guess ill have to head all that way. Maybe ill get the honey to ride on the back.

Agreed! We got REAL lucky down south! A good reason to build a few pad days in here and there.

With that in mind, shall I post the schedule MasterChief proposed a few days ago? Maybe another pad day in Cleveland?

At this point I just say bring IT to Cincinnati and those of us here will start the Ohio leg. Hoping to get to Columbus for a meet up with folks there and a visit at the AMA Museum, then head north toward Toledo to pick up/hand off to Masterchief. Somehow, it would be wonderful to get to Mid-Ohio for a lap on the track in the midst of all this. My schedule for weekday vs. weekend rides is flexible so if that matters, we can keep it in mind. Other Cinci riders may not be-- what say you?

Geez guys, do you realize we are at 30 days or a bit less from this ride being in our driveways? Time to start getting it nailed down. I'm stoked!

Mid-Ohio, I doubt it. Needs to get done. Also, contact AMA museum. The Team South guys who stopped at Barber Museum had a great tour including some behind the scenes stuff. Maybe we could get the same treatment from AMA. Anyone here have any contacts at AMA? If not, I can "cold call" them. Let's hear it!!

As has been stated before.... this relay rally is more like water than rock.....ever moving dates and nothing cast in stone.... I would see if you can get a wider range of dates available for it. just saying.....

When I talk to them I will tell them we are shooting for the 19th. I would assume that if we want some type of "special" tour we have to hit the date dead on. I will call them later today and see what I come up with.

As it gets closer, dates will start to firm up more... and you just have to SELL them on the ADDED exposure for their museum more than our benefits of going there. National press, & becoming part of a historical venture.
