I will have a camera, a Canon SX10, it takes pretty nice pics, 10 megapixels, I  think.

I hope he made it! See you tomorrow at noon in Sandusky my friend!

If anybody wants to ride with me from Cleveland to Sandusky, I'll be happy to meet. PM me a meeting location (probably around 10 or 10:30 I think, I like to be early :)  ) and we can find a spot to meet, otherwise if I don't hear from anybody, I'll take off to meet Master and company in Sandusky at Noon, the we'll head to Cleveland down Rt 6 probably and I'll guide them into Pride of Cleveland for the meet up.

Woo hoo, man, disaster narrowly averted. My buddy Dozer, a MC mechanic, took the day off work today to get the bike ready. Installed 4 new mufflers, changed the oil, freed up a caliper that was sticking. Rear tire was at 25 lbs after 6 months in barn, no big deal. Aired it up at the shop, did all the work, took it off the center stand. Rear tire at 10 lbs. WTF? Luckily I have a great relationship with my Triumph dealer, called him, told him I was leaving in the morning, he had a tube, fixed me up, bike is running like a new motorcycle. Buddy Dan had wife commitment he doesn't remember, looks like I'm heading out solo, see you all at POC.

Chris,

I am planning on arriving at POC between 12:00 - 12:30pm  if you want to arrive a little early.

Steve,

Glad to hear you got there safe. Sorry to hear about the bike. Damn..... was hoping you could make it here. Could you have got it fixed up at a bike shop there in T- town? I really wanted you to be a part of the RRHOF deal.

Popwood, myself and a friend of mine Jim made the trip up to Findlay to meet up with masterchief on thursday.  350 miles and 300 of them in the rain!!! Popwoods bike had some spark issues so we had to pull over and let the bike dry out twice.  Other than that the trip although 12 hour duration, most was uneventful and dismal... boring roads in this section of Ohio.. But after reading many of the posts, as popwood said, we feel because Godzilla came from the sea he likes wet weather to follow.  So if you guys up north want to throw him in Lake Erie the rest of you should have a dry trip...LOL

For the Indiana and Northern Ohio guys, I am thinking about doing some of the Michigan/Wisconsin ride. Mechanical issues and bad weather made my part of the relay less than I hoped too and I would love to ride in the sunshine with Big G and some of the other forum members.

Timing seems to be up in the air, but based on what I have seen on other team threads it looks like Michigan bigs up G in early July.

Yep Yep!! Anyone who would like to go for a putt through Michigan, including a ride over the Mighty Mac and a visit with Ken at Cycle-X is most welcome to tag along!!

Timing wise, it will be more like mid-July (figure 3 weekends in New England due to too few weekday riders there and 2 weeks in Eastern Canada).  Exact dates to be determined!

The Michigan plan will be to pick up GZ in Detroit and escort him to Kalamazoo.  Once in Kazoo, he'll rest a few days until a Tuesday or Wednesday.  From Kazoo, he'll ride consecutive days so as to arrive at Cycle-X at noon on the following Saturday.  Seanbarney41 and I have a few beds and sofas to offer and some garage/parking too if anyone wants to ride into Kazoo the night before launch.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

As they say....best laid plans of mice and men......sorry that Steve(popwood) couldn't make the journey to Cleveland.  Shame that things didn't come together a little earlier or we could have done a quick inside jaunt of the Rock Hall. Had to settle for just a few photos on the front. Got MC750 in a motel on the west side and Tripps on the east. GZ is settled in Cleveland for the night, but will get on the road tomorrow no later than 11am...should be in Sharon, PA. by 1:30pm for our handoff to 05c50. Will post photos Sunday when I get a little free time.

Glad to hear things are moving along, and I get the notion of "best laid plans." I will post tomorrow about my trip. While disappointing that I didn't get further, it was a very good trip for several reasons that I'll get to tomorrow, along with some pix. I also have a story and some pix of G's stay in Cincinnati, an incident that occurred at work when I took G in for "Bring Your Pet to Work Day." He didn't play well at all. Stay tuned and have a good ride tomorrow.

I was honored to ride with GZ on my 1972 CB750 from Sandusky to Toledo and met a great group of guys at Pride of Cleveland in Lakewood (Cleveland), Ohio. Sadly today, I woke up with a fever and feeling like crap. I had recruited another rider (Scott) to come with me, he's on an 80 650, and I think he's pressing on to the meet-up point for the push to Sharon.  I'm pissed I can't make it, I donned my gear and my mind said go, and my body said, oh no you don't... Ride safe my new friends and hope to see you again soon!  GZ is on his way!

Unfortunately I didn't get to ride the PA for the handoff but I did get to spend Friday with a great group of guys! It was nice to put a face to some of the screen names!  ;D

I really enjoyed myself! If anyone can send me some of the pics it would be greatly appreciated! My cell phone took some ok shots but nothing truly awesome...  ::)

Home safe, 581 miles, start to finish for me. Had a good time, met some good guys, Myhondas (Ray) was an amazing and gracious host, hats off to him, he is truly a gentleman and a scholar. Bike ran flawlessly, I would ride it to Alaska. I will post some pics up in the riders log.

bike performed flawlessly till i got about half way home, one of my plug wires came out of the plug cap all fixed. now today take the bike out riding down the road and poof no power. check fuses all good start wiggling wires. bam find it. the connector on the underside of my ignition switch is shot. just another thing to rebuild.

Thanks guys, I knew we could do it. Special thanks to those that rode alone and wet and cold to get it delivered. You know who you are.
The best part for me was meeting many of the members here. I only wish I could have ridden the entire route. Go Godzilla.
