Hi,

Coke from AR here.  I have already done a part of this relay but started thinking maybe I could hook up and do a bit more in the MO section.  I looked around in this thread for some dates on when it is going through MO but didn't see a post as I was scanning through.. if you have a post with the sched through MO could you please send me a link.  or if someone can just add some dates after my post I will of course get the show new replies to your posts announcement..

thanks guys

Have any plans been made by anyone going to the Ohio/Pa handoff in Sharon, Pa. I'll be there to pick IT up, but whose going to give IT to me?

Heck, if you're going to go that far, you might as well follow me to Greensburg (home). You can stay the night, then decide which way you want to go the next morning. I'm planning on stopping in Pittsburgh for some pictures on the way home. Flight 93 memorial the next day.

Hi, Glen,
Member MyHondas in the Cleveland area has been actively participating in this thread over the past couple months and I believe he and a few others from Cleveland are expecting to deliver the goods to you at Sharon. And it sounds like Masterchief will be on the leg as well. Ride/Route details will have to firm up soon since IT is scheduled to be here in Cincy in three weeks. That is unless Jerry gets snowed in at Vail pass next weekend. Would hate to see a modern two-wheeled version of the Donner Party fiasco. Jerry,
We should work on Richard about a feature story round-up of the ride for MC. You can bring it up when you see him in Topeka and I will talk to him about it as well. Needless to say, I can write it and pull all the pieces.  together.

Just in a silly mood, thought it was funny. A friend mentioned it, now he has that song stuck in his head. Good.

OK,  Missouri riders, who can join in and for how far? Check the dates and stops thread on the Team Central front page. Those more familiar with the area can help pick out some good rally points and sights to see. I can PM my cell phone number to aid in our link up.  It's crunch time!

Not sure what the Cin or Day photo spots & rally points will be, But I know that we should try to do the AMA Museum, Mid-Ohio Race Track, MC 750's two spots in Toledo, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, NFL Football Hall of Fame in Canton and then head for Sharon PA.
I am now in the same boat as MC750, just got off furlough and they are flying me again. My schedule is really up in the air at the moment and I am not sure where or when they are going to work me. Just going to have to play it by ear.

We are just about two weeks out from GZ arriving in Ohio and it's time to get serious about the Ohio route. I think between Cincy (Ohio start point) and Columbus riders (please step forward and identify yourself) day one will to Columbus and AMA museum visit then head north to Toledo. Masterchief or Columbus riders, thoughts on best roads heading that way? Day two heads to Cleveland, a relatively short trip. What are your thoughts schedule wise My Hondas? I don't think you can do RR Hall of Fame, Mid-Ohio, Football in Canton then Sharon, PA all in one day. And if you are a question due to work obligations, who is the go to person in Cleveland to carry IT to PA?

It's been awfully quite from Columbus -- any body there riding we can count on? Dayton, Spades, are you in and what are you thinking?

Who all is coming to Cincy from Indy? What time do you think you might get here? Depending, I might do a little shindig (otherwise known as a burgers on the grill) here at my place for the handoff if that makes any sense given time of day for arrival.

This is going to be fun making our contribution to this ride. Have you all been reading about rides out West the past week or so? Some incredible s#@t going on. Inspiring.

Hey Pop, Masterchief, MyHondas, and others!

My schedule has me coming home to Cleveland on the morning of Thursday the 19th (I'll be taking the day off Thu and can ride), taking off Friday the 20th to ride and free to ride most of Sat 21 and Sun 22 if need be.  I wasn't planning on doing Mid-Ohio from Cleveland, just taking Zilla to Sharon PA, via RR HOF and perhaps Canton - but that's not a fun ride from Cleveland, if I have zilla alone or with just one or two guys, we can play it by ear to see who wants to go to Canton (I don't).

Not sure what the other riders are thinking, but Mid-Ohio is probably a better bet from Columbus to Toledo - anybody make contact with them?  There isn't much there besides parking lot if you can't get in unfortunately.

For a Cleveland meet-up, hearing no suggestions, how about either Pride of Cleveland Scooters  http://www.clevelandscooters.com/  (yes, a scooter store, but also sells MCs, the owner, Phil, is a Honda lover and restores old SOHC http://www.clevelandmoto.com/ ), the Garage Bar on West 25th http://www.thegaragebar.net/ ? Or the Spitfire Saloon on W 177th http://www.punkrockbar.com/  Very limited city driving if you are coming down the lake scenic road from Toledo, if you are coming down I90, it's a 5 lane highway into Cleveland, wide open really (watch for 5-0 though).

RR HOF is 5 minutes away from the Garage Bar/10 from Spitfire and 20 from Pride of Cleveland, then it can be either cruising around Cleveland/Canton for the day on Friday and meet-up in Sharon on Sat, or a push on Friday to Sharon PA.

PS - Wifey just reminded me we have tickets for Fri night, so I can only ride to dinner time, but Sat is open.

Just some suggestions, CLE people chime in!
