The offer still stands. We've got a few extra beds if anyone else needs a place to stay. I'm really looking forward to a visit from the Big G.

The schedule is like a slinky and I am in the middle. If the majority need it in chicago on friday the 13th to make things happen down the line let it be known here soon. I can eliminate the saturday ride altogether and just cruise up the interstate or still do the two lane ride on friday. Or maybe someone would want to ride to Galesburg and get it thursday afternoon when we get home from MO.
I had no idea there was an event in Indy on Saturday when we made this tour up.

I had to choose between my drag car points race in Joliet or riding the tour, I chose riding but am willing to adjust accordingly because I get all of MO. and Il. anyway. If the vote is to move it up let me know soon. We are leaving for missouri monday AM. so far no one there has said for sure they want to meet up and ride MO. Riding along on my bike with just a car and trailer doesn't appeal to me so I may just boogie on home.

Who's doing the Chicago hand-off and trip to Indy?  I think it's in their hands to chime in on the ability to get here for the Rocker's meetup.

OK Guys,

I'm not planning on going through all the posts to find your schedule and it might be right under my nose. I'm on the road working and have to get my stuff ready to head out this Sunday. I'm assuming you have at least all the dates planned out now?! I'm certainly hoping so. Godzilla will be in the hands of Team Central in 4 days then it's your turn. If you haven't posted it up, maybe something like this would be most helpful to the riders:

5/10 Topeka
5/11 Your City, MO
5/12 Your City, IL
5/13 Next City, IL
5/14 Etc Etc Etc
5/__ whatever the last day to ride and make the hand off is. Fill in the blank days.

I've found this format very helpful to all our riders and viewers. This is a simple and uncomplicated method that OldSchool_IsCool aka Bruce is using for the entire Relay that I'm sure you all are aware of. Once you get the dates set then plan the riding to make those dates work. IE who's riding on those dates and what routes they will join in the ride to get Godzilla to the next day's destination. No time left to do anymore planning. But from what I understand there may be a day or two available to make minor adjustments. I'm hoping all the guys that want to participate can manage to fit their schedules into the existing plans. For anyone that can't make it work we'll look forward to better planning next year and see you on the Relay in 2012. This has been working amazily well so now you guys will have Godzilla, our torch, to hand off to Team Mid Atlantic.

Here's to wishing Team Central all the good times everyone in front of you has already enjoyed. Have a safe and fun ride. Do NOT let Godzilla get out of control. He's one badass party lizard! See you in Topeka Monday night!

I have all of the 14th to ride from, to and around Chicago.  Wherever Godzilla will be on the morning of the 14th, I will ride to meet him or her.  If Godzilla needs a ride, I will provide it.  I can't accompany the tour to Indianapolis, unfortunately, though I sincerely wish I could.  But for the 14th, I'm all in.  This would be a good time for other Chicagoans to chime in, plan, figure stuff out, etc.

Finally got the bike on the road today after 30 years of sitting. Road 50 basically drama free miles today, plan to do 100 or so tomorrow. It looks like I am a go to ride (subject to replacing the rear tire). I plan to ride to Cinci and probably up to Toledo, but I will have to head back to Chicago from there. I really wanted to hook up with the group at St. Louis. The ride up the MS is really nice, but I just won't be able to take that much time.

I'm here!  I spoke with Don R. today.  He may be in St. Charles and/or Joliet on May 14th.  I'd love to meet up in Joliet, then head East on 30.  That might not work well for a lot of the Chicago contingent?!  I live just over the state line (in Indiana) near rte 30.  I'm still not sure what bike I'll have ready.... For one of my bikes, the pistons, head and jugs should arrive any day - YIKES!  I may need to resurrect one of the others and depending on the quality of the "resurrection", I may be in for a long ride or a short one. :)  If on the outside chance, I'm not riding, I'll likely be "on call" with a pickup truck, tools and parts and would certainly still like to meet with whoever is riding through the area.

The chase car is loaded, my brother caught his foot stopping while riding the 76 gold wing so he will be driving the chase car with a spare 750 on board. We have lots of tools and a few parts. I got the double front disc working on my 76F so far, Wow.

In the morning (Mon.) we will head to Sedalia to set up camp at the Super 8 and visit friends, then ride to Topeka early tues AM to meet the guys. We may get a tag-along on a 350. After the Topeka stop we will return to Sedalia for the night before heading east.  Anyone wanting to meet up along the way on the 2 lanes (Mo. 50 to 94 to 47 to 79) can text or call me 309-299-5362. I will check in here along the way also.

Here in Cinci just watchin' the plans hatch. I can take delivery anytime but definitely plan to go to Columbus and likely Toledo and Cleveland depending on schedule. Wish we knew more about Columbus riders. In? Out?

I'll just be watching to see how Indy develops. Can you believe this is only a week or 10-days away? Whew!!  Except for an oil change, I'm ready. Vrrrmmm, vrrrmmm.

And oh,yeah, let's all hope the g**##@m rain goes away. After all this, fair weather must be on our side.

Hey MasterChief750, Here is what I mentioned about Cleveland, I haven't heard from other forum members, I PM'd who I know but haven't heard back.

I'm still leaning toward Pride of Cleveland, a cool place, in Lakewood, OH, right next door practically to a great bar/restaurant and good parking lot.  I'm trying to get the OK from the owner to make sure they can accommodate us.  I'm also happy to meet you in Findlay or where ever, please keep me posted, I'd ride out from Cleveland then ride into with you and go as far as I can, hopefully to QSL in Sharon.  Be well!  I'll PM you my cell number.

From another post:

For a Cleveland meet-up, hearing no suggestions, how about either Pride of Cleveland Scooters  http://www.clevelandscooters.com/  (yes, a scooter store, but also sells MCs, the owner, Phil, is a Honda lover and restores old SOHC http://www.clevelandmoto.com/ ), the Garage Bar on West 25th http://www.thegaragebar.net/ ? Or the Spitfire Saloon on W 177th http://www.punkrockbar.com/  Very limited city driving if you are coming down the lake scenic road from Toledo, if you are coming down I90, it's a 5 lane highway into Cleveland, wide open really (watch for 5-0 though).

RR HOF is 5 minutes away from the Garage Bar/10 from Spitfire and 20 from Pride of Cleveland, then it can be either cruising around Cleveland/Canton for the day on Friday and meet-up in Sharon on Sat, or a push on Friday to Sharon PA.

We could meet at shoreline park for a few quick pics great view of cedar point from there. I figure if people aren't responding plan then maybe adjust later. I don't know cleveland that well basically go there for the regatta every fall and that's about it. You know it better pick a place and that's where we will go.
