Any idea where the handoff is in Indianapolis?  I might right over for the hand-off and ride back to cincy... then maybe make the trip to Columbus on Wednesday????  Can't to overnight during the mid week...too many meetings at work and payroll to do, but am free Sunday and Monday.  "What's the plan Stan" or do I "jump on the Bus Gus"  OK pretty lame and shows my age!

I'm still waiting to hear from the Indy guys on the meeting point. Keep an eye on the thread, it should pop up today or tomorrow.

No, don't know about Cincy either. Same issue. I've never been there. I figure that one of the Indy riders will take over GZ and coordinate the ride to Cincy.

Just Found this you tube thread too..
Blue Oyster Cult - Godzilla

Modz, as you can see, Sunday is the scheduled day to arrive in Cincinnati, but . . . 60% chance of rain Saturday and Sunday all along Chicago to Cincy route. I've been in touch with IndyFour who is definitely planning to ride to Cincinnati. Nothing confirmed, but I proposed meeting up at my place for those coming down and anyone around here who wants to join in. I'd do a lunch/maybe fire up the grill something like that. I live just off Ronald Regan HW at Galbraith Rd. exit in Wyoming. Handy spot for those coming and going back to Indy. But it was just a suggestion, as I said. Feel free to propose other hand-off spots.

As to departing Cincy, date is planned for Wednesday. However, we have no riders yet confirming in Columbus so it may get scratched from the route. We may just head up to Toledo. I've been looking at maps for routes other than I-75 and there are a couple possibilities.
Current Rides:
1975 cb550K
1975 cb750K
1967 Bridgestone 350GTR

Past Rides:
1988 400 Hawk
195? Schwinn Whizzer

I got dropped of the last page so .. we are riding w/e as long as we can get back in a day. Also, Skyline Chili is a must with Zilla because it's only here. Looking foward to this!

Popwood: It might be Monday that we go on to Cincy. It's a 5-6 hour ride from Chicago to Indy on Sunday and depending on the weather I'm not sure that I or the others will want to go on to Cincy that day. It seems only fair to give the Indy guys a whole day with Big G.

However, if everyone wants to go on to Cincy on Sunday I will most likely say yes. I have a friend waiting for me to get there anyway.

Hey Don what's that Honda shop in West Jersey IL? Is it a motorcycle junk yard? What time would you leave to ride out to there?

I was just thinking tonight would of been a good night to do bike night at Ducky's lagoon in Andalusia IL, too late for now though probably.

MC750, Looks like you are right about Thursday in Toledo. I was misinterpreting the schedule thinking Wed. was a departure date, but upon closer inspection and your observation, I see it was color coded for Wednesday being an overnight here. Whichever is cool with me. Actually, Thursday maybe a bit better-- unless Wed is no rain and Thursday is rain.

Hey Spades! How does a Thursday run look to you?

If Monday is what works for your team, fine. I won't have much time for Handoff given work schedule. And maybe someone else will have to do hand off-- like Modzsquad that day. I believe he posted his Monday was more open than mid- to later in the week.

Skyline!!? I don't think our highways and biways have enough rest stops to assure an "accident" free ride after a 5-way. That's OK, I'll have a coke.

I was looking at Rt. 23 when Columbus was in the picture, but if not, have been considering 68 to east of Dayton or 127 to the west.
Sill no word from anyone in Columbus. We've begged for a shout out and I've PM'd those on the list.

As for a Chicago-Indy meetup point....one option would be to meet/greet the Chicago folks as they roll into town somewhere (like @ the Speedway museum as suggested earlier)....split up for the night and meet up again in the morning for departure....
The other option would be for the Chicago folks to get here, relax and just meet up with us in the next morning for departure for Cincy at some other meeting point that we can agree on.

Thoughts?  Ideas?

BTW - I checked in with my painter and my tank is not going to be ready in time for this weekend (Rocker's Reunion or our Relay ride).  Luckily my buddy at work has a 500 that isn't running at the moment (not lucky for him, though) and he loaned me his tank.  So....I'll be riding a two-toned bike.  Nobody point and laugh, o.k.?   :o
