Do they light up and don't flash?  If they do not light up you are probably missing 12v at the black wire that feeds the left switch.  If they light and do not flash the flasher most likely is bad...Larry

Flasher, that's the expensive part, right?

Mine orginally came on and only rarely flashed but the more I use them the more they blink.

Flasher is very inexpensive, you can go to most any auto parts store and get an electronic 2 prong flasher as a replacement. Like 3 to 6 dollars...Larry

would these new lights be LED's?  if so, you'll need an electronic style flasher.

Could be.   I bought mine at Brandywine Auto Parts (a local chain) and remember handing  Adam a five and getting some change back.

You will cause a short to ground.  Determine if the black or green wire on the new signals is ground. Do that by opening the signal to see which wire goes to the center post and which goes to the outer ground body.It is most likely the black is ground...Larry

That is exactly why I didn't buy one.  I will use hand signals or flick the switch back and forth manually before paying that much.

OP= original poster.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Don't confuse that with PO which stands for Previous Owner, as in it was dropped by the previous owner.

Must be something else no way it is $60.00 Less than $10.00 any where.
Green is usually ground for Honda. With after market you never know you will need to ring it out. But do get the electronic one instead of a thermal one They flash steady at idle where as a thermal will flash very slow at idle and speed up as you reach higher RPMs. Or as the voltage gets higher.

All those green wires soldered together are factory if they don't look to sketchy. If its a really bad, nasty job it was re-done by the PO but is still the basic idea. As said before green on Honda is a ground. These bikes use a common ground, you will probably trace that soldered mess to a single ground wire near the seat lock or coils. Clean the surface shiny and reattach. Now go impress father in law
