Topic: So Much To Appreciate By Being A Member Here!

       Hope you all don't mind, but I'd just like to say that, besides the 4th of Dec being my 5th year as a Member of the SOHC4 Bunch (like a Family), I have made it past the first year of being without my Wife Brenda and am approaching the 2nd Christmas Tomorrow. A large number of you have given me so much support through that and I am SO grateful (you'll never know how much) and next to my faith in God, give You All alot of credit also, for me being able to get through this. I may not be here much and participate as much, but you all are still a part of my life and I think of you all often.

      With that being said, I Do hope that you all have a Very Merry Christmas and a Fantastic New Year!

I agree with you completely, Bill.  I am working today while the rest of my family enjoys Christmas, and I will be at work tomorrow as well.  But in the moments between turning wrenches on locomotives (my job), I'm checking in with all of you guys!  Merry Christmas, SOHC family!

I am in the fourth Christmas since my wife passed..  I can tell you without reservation that it does get better, the first of every event is the hardest by far, each subsequent year becomes bearable and  Faith does heal.  I just found this site and feel a sense of community even though I have never met anyone here...Larry

     Funny, when I found this place, it was the 1st one that I joined and I really had no clue what to expect, I was fresh, as far as going online and all. These folks took me in and made me feel like part part of the "family" in no time at all. Even though I belong to several forums, especially a car forum that is tied to the Charger I have now, the SOHC4 does and will ALWAYS have a special place with me.

    Thank you Scott, I appreciate the good wishes, We are doing alright. It's getting better for me. My Daughter Karla is still holding pretty solid and keeping her eye on me. Here's hoping that you and your family have a good one as well.

    Thanks for sharing Larry, it HAS been pretty tough and an experience I wouldn't wish on anybody. I KNOW what you mean about the people here. I have only physically met 2 and they are jtb (John) and Ilbikes (Gordon) and yet, there is a large number of the the folks who I really feel close to. Close enough in fact, that when one leaves the forums for good, I feel a tremendous loss.

    Hope that you all have a Fantastic Christmas and enjoy a Very Happy New Year.

Yes, I have been doing things to my '07 Charger R/T, participating with a car club that is associated with that AND in the process of starting a build (long term) on a '92 Dodge Standard Cab Dakota Pickup. I AM looking to get things squared away so I can work more on my Super Hawk too (trying to setup my back bedroom to work on the bike in (as I have no space anywhere else). LOL Plus, I can stay warm and dry.
