OEM Honda Engine Gasket Set - 750
« on: December 24, 2010, 11:37:25 AM »
This might sound crazy, but has anyone compiled a list of gaskets, o-rings, pucks, etc with part numbers for a full engine rebuilt kit for a cb750? I am shying away from going with any of the aftermarket kits (Versah, Athena) in favor of getting the OEM quality, and I don't have a clue as to what all I will need.

Thanks in advance!

Couldn't you just go through the parts diagram and write the numbers down?
These guys have the fiche and pretty good prices. You'll have to grab your ankles tight for the shipping though.

I guess? Save for writing down anything that has the words "gasket" and "o ring" in the description, I don't really know what I'm looking for, or more importantly don't want to miss anything.

another good fiche i like better.

what i do is find the list of parts in the fiche, then email my local honda dealer, they will match parts prices and shipping is free.   They also find some parts numbers that are wrong and correct them for you.

at least thats the case at Dreyer honda in indy.  if you call them talk to connie, she's very helpful.

I've never seen these numbers on any fiche, only here in the forums. But they work when I put them in the reverse parts finder, both at Western Hills and Service Honda.
06110-300-000 Gasket kit A, 06111-300-000 gasket kit B.
I dont know whats in there or even if they are available but I'd bet that your local dealer will steer you to the right parts for your bike.
FWIW I got a Vesrah kit from Z1 and was pleased with it, even though it wasn't totally complete. I have an unsubstantiated idea that the only difference from Genuine is the baggie with the wing on it.

I recently ordered a genuine top end gasket kit (A) for a 750 K4.

The Honda part number is: 06110-393-S00 and the application is listed for the 1974-1978 750 K models. Once it arrives, I'll see what's included or not.

Sweeeeeet. Yeah, I'll be rounding up parts next week sometime with an eventual tear down after the 1st. I've got some parts pondering to do. . .
Waiting for this damn rain to stop in SF so I can ride the ol girl one last time before she goes under the knife!
