Ground clearence is better then the 750? Only stock sporty I care for is the new forty eights but for the money there are a lot better bikes.

If your looking for a newer daily rider that has a good riding position and fairly cheap have you considered the buell lightning xb12. Super comfy for destroying the city streets ands gobs of low end low end torque. The can be had between 4500 and 6k

Ah, the patter of little feet around the house. There's nothing like having a midget for a butler

I rode one at a HD factory ride day;  POS.

Jerky motor, lousy control feel, jolting ride over any minor road bump.

live out in the country do destroying city streets doesn't mean much
i do like the naked bike look
the honda 750rs looks good to me but for a grand less i get a whole lot more bike
and with the wife on the back there is a dramatic power loss on a 75
buells are hard to find around here

If your really interested check out www.badweatherbikers.com

As you can tell I heart my buell.. Its not the fastest thing in the world (possibly the slowest) but it's a real joy to joy to ride..... Kinda like my 550 but in today's standard.

I liked that 48 as well, until we met in person. it's too low and the foot pegs are ridick. if it had standard pegs and a bit more suspension in the back it might work out. I think HD got the look right, but the ride is #$%*ty.

I saw a badass new xr1200r at the last bike show. that's what HD has been missing!

and I'm a fan of the Buell's as well. I'd buy one of those if I was still in the market for a newish bike. (in school now, can't afford)
