Topic: What Type of Tire for Comstars on 550K

                 I've been kind of looking at tires for the Comstars, that I have on my 77' CB550K. I've
      always been partial to the old Dunlop K70s but, They aren't as plentiful and the sizes are limited.
      I'm trying to get tires as reasonable as I can and be as decent as possible for the cost. The tires
      that Dan-0 was questioning, that were from Dennis Kirk, look pretty good. I'm just used to more
      thread design like the K70s have and Pirellis (or however you spell it) had a universal thread similar
      but, I don't think they (that design) are still around. Anyone got any ideas? I've looked at tires on
      several different sites but, I just don't know. Some of them have a different thread for the front
     than they do for the back. I want the same on front and back. Any input would be appreciated>

Avon Road runners. Universal, fits front or rear if you want same tread pattern. They do a specific front tyre as well.
I've never used them on a 550 but my brother loved them ( I'd still use the 'real' TT100's if I could get them)

I just put Pirelli Sport Demons on my 78 550K. I like 'em. Got 'em at motorcycleproshop.com, I think they have the best prices.

              Thanks guys, I will definitely check them out. I just got kind of over whelmed after looking
         at some many different ones that I thought I'd see what you guys had used and your thoughts.

Unless you are a cornering nutter look at Metzellers, you can have a ribbed front (ME11 I think) and a "block" rear (ME 33 I think) dont quote me on the numbers i am bushed
