not yet. collecting parts and learning about the bikes tho.  I started to build 4 bikes at the same time which isnt the smartest. 1 350 reso (my moms bike)1 2stroke,1 bobber and the 2 550f my plan for the 550 is street/race bike from late 70's so resurching tricks of the trade and finding modifyd/custom parts has been fun to say the least! I enjoy reading everybodys builds and forcing my self not to change direction, I have collected another 75 550f and extra motor and parts for my addiction.

Rusty,

The Relay Rally should be passing through Toronto the first or 2nd weekend of September. If you are interested in participating keep your eye on the Team 6 thread.

Oh really?! Sounds like fun. Not should I'll be around that weekend yet.
You have details, in case I can make it?

Theres a few still kicking around:

Ted at Rosey Toes Motorcycles. If you can get past his charm... Lol he knows engines! http://dontai.com/oldsite/roseytoes/

There's Kemp. He does mostly cb550-cb650 engine work... kemp.archibald@hotmail.com

And Ernie. I don't know him personally, but i hear he does good work and knows a lot about these old engines and then some.. Lol 647-227-2859

I had the same muffler... I loved it, didn't think it was to loud, no neighbors complaining and I like that when on the highway you don't have to worry about a car not knowing you are next to them... They will hear you on their side....

What did you use for Headlight ears? I can't find any that fit 50MM fork tubes

I used these Tommaselli Type Headlight Brackets. Removed the rubber tubes and fit the cbr fork legs just fine. :)

Ok, got it. THanks. Another question: Where did you end up going to get your offset front 18T Sprocket?

Cyclex. 3/8" offset. 18T :)
They seem to sell out of these fast and often.. Keep your ear to the ground and order as fast as you can when in stock. Lol

Hahaha.. Well all of the above would be the plan... But lets see how much time I have between this BSA chopper build and another cb550 build I need to do as well. Not enough time in the day. :/ lol
