I hope so! Just ordered them today. They are gel grips so they should be soft.

I think that you need more of a hump to provide visual balance with the tank.

That hump shape looks quite good to me.

Has anyone ever made a seat tail from the back end of a tank? That could make for a very interesting look.

The exhaust is a question mark IMO. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

WELL I FINALLY GOT STARTED ON MY SEAT AND EXHAUST.MY BIKE IS AT MY DADS HOUSE BECAUSE IM PAINTING A BIKE FOR A FRIEND.IM MAKING YHE SEAT HUMP FROM THE TANK FROM THE SUZUKI DONOR BIKE.GOT THE EXHAUST MOCKED UP IN 1" PIPE TO TAKE TO THE MUFFLER SHOP TO GET SOME 2" PIPE BENT FOR IT.ONLY PROBLEM IS .............................................I FORGOT MY CAMERA

THIS IS NOT THE PIPE IM USING IM GETTIN SOME PIPE BENT AT THE MUFFLER SHOP SO IT WILL BE ONE SOLID PIPE!

looking at your exhaust are you doing a 4-1 or 4-2? is it going to run under from the front over your oil pan? then up between your case and the swing arm?

it is a 4 into 2 that will run along the bottom of the oil pan via 2 "Y" connecters.then up thru the swing arm

the only thing i would check is your ground clearance between the 2" pipe running over the oil pan when you are on the bike might be low. but you seem pretty on it with this build so guessing you have already thought of that.

the exhaust will go around the oil pan...sorry for the confusion

went and had the pipes bent at the exhaust shop

I just wanted to ask what your planning to use to protect your body from the amount of heat directly under the seat. Exhasut wrap and some quality heat shield material attached to the seat pan might keep you from catching on fire. Also keep the heat in mine when selecting the location of your electronics.

i do plan on using some heat sheild material uner the seat and seat hump.as for the electronics

i will have to get creative.im gonna have to wrap the pipes i guess....thats gonna be expensive

got a little work done on the exhaust today until my welder ran out of wire

cut 2 v notches in each pipe,welded together,then put the collecter on then no more wire.lol

anyone see any un seen problem that i cant?

Maybe drop the collectors down underneath the bike so it's not as visible?

Like i posted elsewhere, a few guys here have tried headers like that and they failed, not enough length in the primary pipes and this results in poor back pressure, you only ever see pipes like that on serious drag bikes and that is entirely different. Will pop and be a pain in the arse to tune...Don't know the exact specifics but NO one builds aftermarket pipes like that for a reason.....Just saying..
