Did somebody need shock rubbers?
« on: January 03, 2011, 07:51:48 AM »
There was a thread where someone needed the rubber bushings that go in the eye of a rear shock absorber. I found my selection of bushings, but i can't find the thread.

Anyone?

I got a heap of spares too, DSS give you a pretty good selection when you buy their shocks. :)
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Anyone?

That would be Tugboat, on the other bikes forum.
BTW, I also have a set of vintage S&W shocks with tired bushings; thanks for the tip about Progressive!

That was me - ended up buying some off a guy who removed them from his stock KZ shocks and sent them to me for $10. Also picked up a set of stock KZ shocks in relatively decent shape for $15 in case I ever have this problem again. Thanks for the follow-up though.. one of the reasons why this forum is such a great resource!!

And for what it's worth, here are the new shocks installed.
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.
