Advanced Cycle Products - Are they out of business?
« on: May 14, 2010, 01:16:47 PM »
Advanced Cycle Products, Shawn Tait, Portland, Oregon

I placed an order for NOS parts mid-April on their website. Used a credit card that went through. Items were "In Stock" and they advertised 3-5 day delivery via USPS. No response to email inquiry and their phone and fax have been disconnected. Does anyone have the scoop on this guy?

I don't have the answer for you but am in the exact same boat as you. I have been waiting for a month and on Monday will be calling my credit card company and discussing it with them. Does anyone have any info on these guys?

Wish i would have read this post before buying from advanced cycle products.Same thing happened to me,ordered cb400f shop manual(saw later I could download it from this cool and very informative site) and have heard not a peep from that ass hat.
Credit card company though helpful did not think much would come from a claim, gonna go ahead and do it anyway. This guy needs to be shut down if he is taking peoples money without delivering any product.

Since that time, I emailed him about some more parts to see if the "Family Issue" was over and received no response. His website will still take your money but he has had no activity on eBay since May. A friend of mine in Oregon drove by his "business" address that turns out to be a neighborhood home and he reported it appeared abondoned. Just don't know.

I notice at the top of the website it says Portland, OR; but the address at the bottom is in Seattle.
