GZ is only about 10 inches tall. He fits nicely on top of a stock headlight bucket, right between the speedo & tach. The two log books, banner & pens all fit into a 2-gallon ziplock type plastic bag. Easily fits into a side bag, tank bag or bungie'd to the rear seat.

If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Thanks Old School.....I've been busy at the Rocker Box street festival in Milwaukee.

Its looking good group............Because of the zig-zag route through the Team Northern area, we could end up with the most miles traveled as a group!

No problem Dennis. You took care of my team while I was on the road, so just returning the favor in some small way!

The Saskechewan handoff to Montana is looking good for maybe August 26-27-28???

Have you guys figured this out yet?  Actually, the SOHC4 relay map shows the handoff from Canada coming from Alberta.  Is someone taking it into Alberta then down or is it coming out of Saskatchewan?  Do you know who is bringing it to Montana?  It would help me if we can start nailing this down a little bit.

One thing, I can't cross the border these days, no passport.

Update:

Z is safe and sound in Lincoln NE. It was a fun weekend at Okoboji IA to meet up with all the Minnesota riders! I'll save all the details for the ride reports section. Next move is to get things setup for the NEB/SD handoff.

Ofreen........the original plan was to get the rely into Saskachewan (Saskatoon?) and then down to Montana.  The current effort is to confirm with the Canadian riders and establish a handoff destinatino near the Montana border.

Work schedules, personal schedules, the economy, gaskets, carburetors............lots of little things get in the way............especially since the original eagerness of numerous riders that spoke up back in March, April and May.

It looks like we are depending on Killer Canary to connect with Montana ..........

My last understanding was that it would cross from Saskatchewan, over to Alberta, then down to Montana from there.  Killer Canary sounded like he was in for a good chunk of SK, I was willing to pick GZ up from him at AB/SK border.  tomsweb1 sounded like he was able to join for that portion, and Darcy CB400F would be able to join later.  I've just sent a few PM's.

For all you SK riders: How far are any of you willing to travel to get GZ from MB? As of right now, I think I'm the only MB rider (that may change though..?), and after picking up GZ this weekend, it's looking like I won't be able to travel again until into September (or at least not travel very far).

Sorry folks as much as I'd like to help and meet some fellow riders this weekend, family commitments are taking priority.

I could have taken care of the Winnipeg to MB & Sask hand off, I think the 550's ready to go but I couldn't be of any help till the weekend of Aug. 20 & 21 and I'm sure GZ will be long gone by then

Actually, I'm 100% sure that's the earliest GZ would be able to leave! I'm booked up weekends until mid-September, and I'm not sure anyone else us around. If you'd be willing to do a handoff that weekend it would probably workout great!

when is the trip from Nebraska north?

We're meeting at Great Plains Cycle in Lincoln NE at 8 am Saturday (aug 13th). We will be leaving around 8:30am and heading along HWY 77 up to Sioux City. If you or anyone else would like to meet us for the ride feel free to stop at Great Plains at 8am or let me know a time and place to meet along the way. He hope to be in Sioux City by noon for the handoff.

Godzilla was handed off to me at about 5:00 p.m. today.

After a lengthy wait in line at the border, Godzilla shot one mean glare at the customs officer, and we were waved through in a hurry. We rolled into Winnipeg about 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Godzilla is now an honorary Canadian citizen.

....that being said, I need to hand it off to someone here in Winnipeg to bring it out west. I don't have another free weekend until well into September (I just checked my calendar, and the next free weekend I have is September 24th & 25th). Godzilla won't want to hang around here that long...
