Yup zilla sure covered some miles this weekend!Good thing for the Japanese he was never this fast in the old days! ;D
Two successful handoffs in 1 day and 2 new members to the 500 miles club! I will have more in the other area set aside for this.
Many of us never actually see any faces associated with the names, so it was awesome to meet a couple of the members.
John and Wyatt are great guys and I was very happy to meet them and take part in this relay.
Thanks to the previous riders for safely carrying Godzilla and good luck and safe rides to the future riders.
I did get a couple pics which I will post in the other section. Probably tonight.

What SK riders are going to Winnipeg? Anyone else beside SK riders? We have one FINAL region to cover then believe it or not Phase One of the 2011 SOHC4 Relay Rally Across America, Canada and BEYOND goes BEYOND aka GLOBAL BABY!! What an event! Who came up with this crazy idea anyway  ;)

Sounds like I'm it for Saskatchewan. And half of Manitoba! Where is everyone?

Ha! You're a trooper! If you'd seriously be willing to pick it up in Winnipeg, and bring it into SK, you'd rock. Heck, I might even throw in dinner for you if you'd be willing.

Looks like we will have more company in the 1000+ mile club or as it may need to be called - the 1600+ km club  ;)

2000 mile maybe!  :D

Or Matt Lit in Martensville? I don't have nearly enough time for that kind of distance.

Cover the distance into Manitoba, or out to Alberta?

I really wish I could help out more, but I'm pretty stuck.

It's too bad we missed member markreimer before he left from Winnipeg to Vancouver on his bike.

I've PM'd mttlit and axehole54 to see if they are available for SK leg at all.

Killer Canary, s'pose I wouldn't completely rule out coming all the way to Saskatoon to meet you.  Kinda last resort, but would like to help a guy out.

Of course, that could put me over 1100 miles if I end up getting GZ to meet the other Alberta riders and we get him down to MT 8)

I can see a plan is coming together.............maybe we should have awards for long-distance riders! Anyone know any tire, chain, fuel, oil, monkey-butt, or motor-cleaner sponsors?

How tight a schedule are we on here? If Winnipeg550guy is free the weekend of the 27th & 28th, would that work? Or is that too long a wait?

I took Godzilla for a short tour of Winnipeg tonight...I'll post some pics shortly!

ofreen has spoken up as a possible hand-off receiver from Alberta to Montana.  In the PNW thread.

My intention is to cover whatever needs to be covered for western Montana, down into Wyoming to pick up that state, then across Idaho to Oregon to handoff to the PNW crew.  There have been some others that have expressed interest in riding Montana and eastern Idaho/western Wyoming.  What I will do will depend a lot on what others are able to commit to.

Like I said, I'll do my best to fill in any gaps just like I did for Nevada, but I work for a living.  This would be a lengthy ride, so it would help me if we can get this nailed down so I can let the boss know reasonably well in advance when I need to be gone from work.

i just noticed that there could be a chance that if kap384 and i meet up with you in Montana we will be riding a a good cross section of super sports.  75, 76 and 77!

I have PM'd member cootschop, who earlier in this thread said he might be willing to carry Godzilla, in case there is a chance we can get it out of Winnipeg this weekend. If not, it looks like it might be Winnipeg550guy taking it west to Sask the weekend of the 27th & 28th!

Any more Manitoba members here that I might have missed..?

Our unpopulated prairie land isn't making this easy!

I woould be very ashamed of our provinces' riders if Godzilla had to be mailed. I just need someone to bring him into Saskatchewan!

I'd be ashamed as well! Unfortunately, I'm stuck with 'Zilla here in Winnipeg! I've pm'd Winnipeg550guy about bringing it closer to Sask next weekend, as he said he was available then...unfortunately, I don't have another free weekend until well into September, so I think my riding is done. I've pm'd some others as well, just waiting on responses...I hope we can work something out.

I'm guessing the the space between Winnipeg and Regina, or Saskatoon in your case, is probably the largest gap covered with no one else in between...
