I'm guessing the the space between Winnipeg and Regina, or Saskatoon in your case, is probably the largest gap covered with no one else in between...

Naw, it is only a little over 800 km/500 miles, right?  We've had some gaps as big down here.  Can you meet each other half way?  It could be done in a day.

Half way is what I'm asking for. Then I would be off to Alberta. I can only cover one province.

This weekend is out, as I haven't heard anything from anybody in MB, and I'm about to leave for the weekend.

I spoke with another member here yesterday, and I think we can get it to Brandon (about 100 kms from the sask border) next weekend. We'd both have to leave early in the AM to get back to Winnipeg early though. Unless I hear back from winnipeg550guy, as he said he had all next weekend free.

Hey folks, ready to go here, I can leave Saturday morning, traveling Highway #1 to Sask border, pm me to arrange further. Sundays now out for me so if Sask people can't do Saturday I may have to hand GZ back to jneuf and his crew for a Sunday trip

NOOO! :o Is this the K8? Have you tried the clear tubes on the float bowl drains to measure the fuel level inside the bowls? Super easy with the later carbs.

floats are working fine the problem is that gas bypasses the needles on every set I have... I tried putting the k8 carbs on the k3 in a desperate attempt to get running but no deal... only way i can get running is if I have needles and seats that match perfectly and thats just not going to happen... no one has any... I am fukked

What do your spark-plugs look like? Maybe the problem is only one carb?

3 and 4 on the k8 pd's and 1 and 4 on the k3s I've swapped needle and seat sets from my other k3 carb rack with no success those had been sitting since 79 with gas in them so not having much luck

Clutch started slipping but made it home, that's a long day of riding. Forgot about time zone change traveling from Mb. to Sask. so I got there a bit earlier than expected.
