New guy from Kingston
« on: December 09, 2010, 12:39:42 PM »
Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself to all the Canadian riders. I recently bought a decked out 1978 750k that I am going to cafe. When I get enough posts, I will be sell a lot of parts that wont be put back on the bike and I would prefer selling them here rather than shipping across the border. Looking forward to meeting some of you and I will definitely have a lot of questions!!!!

Welcome Gary!  I used to know a lot of nice roads around Kingston - very nice in the fall.  Also was nice to get on the ferry to Wolfe Island and ride the roads there.

BTW The Leafs are GONE! ;D ;D ;D ;D  (First hockey game was played in Kingston.)

Hello Gary and welcome, I was once an avid Leaf supporter but then they went on strike and that left a bad taste in my mouth  so no more. Anyway the Ontario section forums seems quite active and we have plans for a few rides and get togethers so make sure you check in every once in a while.
Good luck with your build,

Here's my hello too, Gary.

I'm in Pickering but find myself down your way a few times in the summer to ride with some vintage (both bikes & us) buddies (regretably not Hondas, but they're an OK bunch) on some of those beautiful roads north of Kingston.  Cruised that Old Perth road this summer all the way up to Calaboogie.  That stretch from Hwy 7 to Calaboogie (509 I think?) is AWESOME!!

One of my favourite rides is from My parent's cottage in Picton across the Glenora fairy then along that road that hugs the shoreline pretty much all the way to Kingston.

Welcome!

Welcome to the board Gary.

I'm hoping you don't chop that bike up before the Rally comes through your area! We need riders  :D

That goes for all you other north of the border guys too.
