Front/rear disc removal question
« on: January 11, 2011, 01:18:18 PM »
Wanted to repaint the centers of my brake discs. Does the rotor come off after loosening the six nuts or does the center "assembly" need to be removed? Is this the smae for the rear? 76 cb750f.

removing only the bolts will allow you to take off the rotor.  i first snug up, then torque the nuts in a cross-pattern (i also use loctite) on reassembly.  for a clearer picture before you disass, try bikebandit.com.  has exploded views of your bike wheels. ;)
