Throttle options?

I am now running a throttle assembly from an 06 CBR600 on my 76 CB750f. The cables exit the throttle assembly "above" the brake lever and then hoops back down to run under the tank. I am looking for other options that create a smoother action. The setup now takes some force to twist the throttle, not able to twist the throttle with just fingers like on my CL350. I was wondering if anybody had used or had any opinions about this Motion Pro Revolver kit or had any other recomendations. http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/search/by_motorcycle/revolver_throttle_kits

That looks like a pretty good setup.
Are you sure the cables are in good condition and lubed?
You never see a motorcycle parked outside of a psychiatrist's office!

This is what I've done on my Harley's:



Granted it's a single cable and a lot of it has to do with size and position of the master cylinder.

About the motion pro product, they don't have one listed for your bike and I'm wondering how many times you'd be taking the throttle apart to find the perfect setup instead of subconsciously getting accustomed to the one you have (provided it works, of course).
This project started in confusion and will end in disarray.

If your throttle is too hard to turn the first thing you should check is the adjustment between the two cables.  Many many times guys will not leave any slack between the pull and idle cables and when you do that it binds the entire control loop.  I've seen more than one guy think his throttle grip or linkage was screwed up and spend days on end trying to lube the cables, when all that was required was that they loosen up just a little bit on one of the cable adjusters.  Try it, you might be surprised.

Your main problem is you want it the same as your twin, yet the 750 has 3 times as hard a throttle pull. Pretty hard to change, but is possible with some types of carnbs.. (not cheap or easy)
  I suspect  your 350 has throttle plates on CV carbs, a much, much lighter pull...

Yeah I know, and twice as many carbs.
I felt a buddies 350four and it was easy and smooth as silk as well. I am determined to find a happy median. Just wanted to throw the question and see what responses I got.

+1 on lubing those cables.  I rode someone elses bike earlier this summer and it was a 750 with the stiffest throttle I have ever twisted, it wouldn't even return to closed on it's own.  When I got to his place I told him that wasn't right he just said oh really, and about a week later he said he took everything apart and lubed it and put it back together.  And all I can say is wow, it was a night and day difference nice and light and very smooth.  Just as smooth as my CL350.
