Hi There!

I'm an owner of new to me '75 CB550F.  I have always wanted an old Honda, a 750 though, but my buddy was getting rid of his CB550 project and thought of it as perfect.  She needs the carbs assembled, tank cleaned and a new ignition.  Besides that it will not be too shabby after a lot of elbow grease.

A big thank you to the community ahead of time.  I've been surfing this site for the past week and have learned sooooo much from a lot of you.  I have never touched a carb before, even though I've build car engines in the past and work on my FI bikes regularly.  Thanks to you guys I feel like a season pro after reading this site and taking my non-CB550F, 627B's apart. ;D

I look forward to completing this project over the next year and this site will be a huge help.  I will post up my progress with some pictures as I dig into her.

Hello Drazen and Welcome!
I now have a 750 but once had a 550. Both very respectable machines, even today.
You will get lots of useful advice here.
Good luck with your project. Do post pictures. We love pictures.

Welcome from Texas! I too have a 550F (and a 750).
