My turn on the box.
« on: January 10, 2011, 07:04:52 PM »
hello from Az. My first bike was a Honda SL70 back in 1976. My step dad bought one of the first Hondamatics in our town. I've been a SOHC long bike nut all these years. I started choppin bicycles when I was in 6th grade and drawing them in art class (always Honda's) I finally bought my SOHC chopper in 1992. That's when the madness started. It is a Denver's chopper built by the late Denver Mullins of San Bernardino Ca. in 1982. It still has it's original paint, chrome and upholstery. To date I own 2 Denver's and am part owner in 2 others. My friends and I are up to 7 original Denver's and I have a total of 10 in the shop. 1 sportster, 1 KZ1000 1 CB500 and 7 CB750s.
My friends and I are collecting any and everything Denver's from old Street Chopper mags, T-shirts, pics from old albums even cigarette lighters with Denver's on them. We would like to put all this in a book some day.

My line of work is mainly automotive restorations.
My hobbies are drag racing, collecting Denver's choppers and trying to keep them all running at the same time.lol
