engine cases
« on: January 11, 2011, 09:02:06 PM »
well, after rebuilding the head and having the cylinders re-bored, it was time to do the bottom end. it was then i discovered the dreaded 'broken chain syndrome' and found both the upper and lower cases damaged and repaired with jb weld. does anyone know where to get replacements for these without going to the U.S.? if anyone out there has a set i would definitely be interested in buying them or batter still, trading for other parts i have from a '78 750k. i am doing a cafe bike so pretty much everything original on the bike will eventually be for sale including a vetter fairing, trunk and hard cases.

Thanks for the offer 754, but I think I found a set a little closer to home. If the deal falls through I will be calling on you  :)
