Rebuilding the head
« on: May 02, 2005, 10:30:56 AM »
Well, i'm rebuilding the head at this point now, and my valves have lots of carbon on them.  IS there an easy way to remove it?  like a chemical strip or something?

any help is appreciated, thanks

Chucked mine in the lathe and used a bit of scotchbrite pad.

Might try soaking in MEK.

Might try chucking them in a drill for the polish.
