Now this is funny
« on: January 12, 2011, 10:10:08 PM »
Glen Beck read an email he received from Sarah Palin and issued this response on his show: "I want you to know you have my support. But please look into protection for your family. An attempt on you could bring the republic down." :o

Never mind that the republic has survived a Civil War that left 600,000+ dead, two world wars, the assassination of four Presidents while in office and the deaths of four others of natural causes.  An attempt on the life of a half term governor and TV reality star will bring about the collapse of our country.   ;D ;D ;D

We called him Governor Me. He only won because the Dems and Repubs both ran awful candidates who thought they were owed the governorship.

I think Franken will make a good senator.  The reason righties get all bent out of shape over him is the books he wrote poking holes in talk radio blowhards.  I can admire a quick wit and biting sense of humor regardless of political bent but so few conservative leading figures have that.  They tend to be just bitter and nasty with little sense of humor.  Franken is actually quite well informed on political matters and much better than Coleman who we referred to as Senator Windsock as he had no convictions he would not change or sell out for political expediency.  It's a nice change to have someone other than a lawyer in higher office.  I know these guys, have followed their careers, and have been their constituent so I have a bit more real life insight than most.
