Did some quick research; it seems Sea Train's cover of Willin came out in '70, while the Little Feat album was released in Jan, '71. :o

Scottly,  If you get a chance, listen to their version.  Also, 13 Questions .  Sea Train was around in the latter 60's and had a truly unique sound, one of the first rock groups with a fiddle...Larry
