That's about it. I'm looking for someone who's trucking or trailering to the Pomona Roadster Show, who's willing to transport a CB750 from SeaTac to SoCal. I'll pay $200 in gas money for the favor, and I'll pick up the bike in Pomona. Unless you also want to come to San Diego for lunch and a beer!    RR

Can't help you out with the drive but I live 10 minutes from Sea Tac and work at the airport and may be able to help some other way. Just throwing it out there.

I  think my Dad only paid $700 to ship a HD from Chicago to Washington. I can't remember the companies name but I'll ask next time I talk with him.

Now that I think about it, I'd put it in my van and do it for that much over a weekend.

Hi, Rat. Thanks! The normal shipping from Seattle to San Diego is significently less than $700, but I thought maybe I could help defer most of the fuel costs of someone who would be driving down for the Grand National Roadster Show as well as reduce my out-of-pocket expenses.

If your dad has someone he prefers, though, I'll be happy to contact that company for a quote.
