Hi Scunny, when i was work in in a bike shop in Sydney in the 80's,we were crating 750's and sending them to Japan then so i assume there are now plenty of old Honda's over there.....

Hi Mick,

>Where those 4 into 4 pipes were made?
I am not sure but it seems "OLDSTYLE" original.
They specify as
"M-001  Muluti メガホンワークスタイプマフラー ブラック CB750K0~K6  ¥ 249,900 "
Price is 249,900yen.  :o   Not cheap.

Hi swithcum,

IN ENGLISH
"Now I understood you are Japanese.
I thought you were not Japanese because Japanese hardly join USA forum due to
Language barrier.
I joined SR500 forum and was introducing Japanese custom scene because
Japanese customizing parts and their skill are excellent but information is limited.
I often see customized CB,Z,etc.on Japanese magazine amazing. They are awesome.
My next target is 1997 CB400four and Hawk GT but I have not yet own.
I will keep in touch with you.
Thanks"

I wish they had not put Car Honda log on its tail, though.... Should have been the old school Honda wing logo.

To Mr. Ito, I have sent you PM, so please check your inbox.

Hello Ito, i was wondering, there are some very nice parts being made in Japan for theses old Honda's, my question is , why are the parts so expensive compared to parts manufactured elsewhere...?

Mick
Hi Mick,

Generally Japanese prices are high.
So handmade motorcycle parts in Japan are also high.
When I found cheaper goods, they are made in Thailand,China and Taiwan.
But quality of Japanese product are very high.

When I customised my YAM SR500,I could not buy brand new aluminium tank.
It was as high priced as second hand SR500.  So I had got used STINKY's type-3 tank on Yahoo Auction.
STINKY for your reference  http://stinky.jp/tank2.php

The cool Japanese parts are very high price,so you have to dare to decide.
To make superior custom bike,it will cost much. ;)

Thanks Ito....They are nice pipes but too expensive at the moment. I have some friends in Japan, in Yokahama , Nagoya and Nagano and i buy guitars from them or with their help, i haven't bought any since the global financial crisis because the Yen went up over 20% compared to before. The exchange rate is terrible at the moment so it makes these prices even worse...... ;)
