- Newbie with New (old) Bike
« on: January 18, 2011, 06:22:59 PM »
Hello everyone,

I just picked up a 1975 Cb750F.

It runs - I am primarily concerned with safety stuff at the moment  -

It seems like the back end is "washing out" a bit (if that make sense). I've been lurking around and it seems the fix would be bronze brushings on the swing arm…and maybe new shocks?

Is there anything else that is particular to these machine that I should be aware of?

Thanks,
Toby

Welcome. At top to bottom tune-up might be in order, check the brake system, tires, etc. Post a pic when you can.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.
