Topic: Want an Exhaust for '75 CB550K

I am looking for a 4 in-to 2 exhaust system for my CB550K cafe build.  or a way to do this myself, I have never done any welding or metal work so would really like something easy or something I can just bolt on, my headers are good but the exhausts pipes them selves have holes from rust and would need alot of work.  I woul like something easy to build or something to bolt on and not have to spend 200+ for it.  If you have any suggestions or links to DIY things or items for sale let me know.

I have a 4-2 exhaust, but not sure of the aplication. The mufflers are new. With some engineuity, you might be able to cut your OE pipes up, and make some type of collector and make it work on your bike. I live 3 hours north of you. if this is something that can wait until spring, you could make a road trip to my place3 and we could see if we can make it work.

I am sure we could figure something out.

I put a Harley muffler on my 550 f, it works well sound good can be had cheap, buy one you like, take the old muffler and the new muffler to a welding shop and have them cut the flange off the old and weld it to the new. shouldn't cost over 50 bucks for the fab work and the way Harley guys are about aftermarket stuff they just throw the stock ones away.

If you up for a road trip up to the Muncie area I'll do it for ya. if you want to get a little more involved I can build you a set of what ever you want. I am hoping to finish a set this weekend.

   Thanks for your responses... I suppose this can wait for now... Bike is in pieces so will be getting in contact with you guys once the time comes to putting the pipes back on or building a set... Thanks for the responses, if you guys know any bolt ons or see any, keep me in mind.
