Topic: Any one ever ceramic coat a stock exhaust?

I am thinking about ceramic coating my stock 550 later model 4-4 exhaust, since they have some rust spots. Has anyone ever done this? Would there be any problems doing this?

Yeah, that looks nice. I am thinking about doing the matte black ceramic coat. Do you know if he had the insides of the pipes done aswell? Or do they usually do that anyways?

The primaries on my custom 4-1 are OEM and I ceramic coated the final piece, so techincally yes I ceramic coated a factory exhaust sorta.   The primaries were blasted and cleaned and when they coat the pipes they do inside and out.  I chose flat black to contrast the chrome megaphone tail, but you can choose almost any colour, even a near chrome.
