Newbie from down south in Bama
« on: January 08, 2011, 06:34:18 PM »
Hello, and a great informative site. Recently acquired a fairly nice condition '73 CB350F. 9600miles, no rust with stock exhausts still intact. After, point adjustment, valves, timing, carb sync, and routine maintenance, she's has become a pretty good runner. About the only grimlin that I have now is that #2 cylinder doesn't seen to warm up as hot as other 3 cylinders. It runs very well though.

Grew up in Japan, I always wanted one of the CB four bikes like 350f 400f. Anyway, Great site and I'm sure I'll be bring out questions as I get deeper into this new obsession.  ;D

Welcome to our insanity, er our site! Nice looking bike. Since it's only an issue with 1 cylinder check your spark plug cap first since thats the easiest. Then cut a slight bit off the wire and reinsert it into the cap. If you're getting the spark at a good plug then think carb maybe.

If you're interested in joining up with your new family for a ride check out this topic http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?board=125.0

Shoot me a PM if you are interested or have any questions. Let's ride!

Thanks for the advice. The carb might be the problem, it did look little wet on #2. Going back out to check it out.
