Hey guys, I'm looking for a magneto drive. I have the mag. Just need the ARD style drive assembly. Even damaged or if missing parts I'm still interested, I could probably make the rest.

the mag itself is a ford tractor mag ,someone might be able to give you dimensions for the driveshaft that goes in place of the points drive.bill

Yeah I have the magneto already, but was hoping to buy an ARD belt drive for it. It's a shame cuz I sold one some time back. I still haven't leaned to keep everything and sell nothing. It's going on a k1 drag bike built in 73 and I wanted to keep everything period correct.

Yup, the mag is fairly easy to get, or make.
The drive not so much.

I have most of a set up, but not for sale.
Might be able to be talked into sending it to you so you could make up a unit.

I actually have a spare ARD drive I found in a box of motor parts from my Bonneville purchase. Let me dig it up and maybe we can have some copy's made. You may wanna get with Big Jay as well. He copied one for a customer last year with very impressive results.

CB350F Head.........Ported and loaded with CB400F valve-train. Was planned for a drag-strip build but abandoned due to owner's relocation. The head-work was done by DAVE MURRE of Random Lake, WI. Dave has a local reputation for superior quality ..........including his work on my Classic Bonneville Racer. Asking $400 shipped to 48US. Reasonable offers considered.

How about a R.C. ENGINEERING angle drive setup for a KZ ? You would have to use a Joe Hunt style mag setup ( fazed ) for reverse rotation, it would look like this........

This is my old setup. The Mallory reverse rotation distributor is gone now. Terry in Australia has it now.

I need to make a set of 54.5mm (466cc) CB400 pistons for a customer, and would like to gauge interest in a run.

They'll be Wiseco's. Open to feedback, but the current thinking is a single compression ring - possibly gapless, low-tension oil rings, contact reduction grooves, and coated skirts. 10.25:1 CR. Our plan is to sell them complete with an 0.010 MLS base gasket and 54.5mm MLS head gasket.

Kit would likely be in the $600 range, which is less than half of what we're seeing NOS Yoshimura 466cc kits going for these days.

I am looking for an RC distributor(MRieck will not approve

). Actually I have one(last two photos) but I do not have the all important drive gear(first two photos) I am willing to buy a complete distributor for the drive gear. Obviously a damaged RC distributor housing and/or bad distributor/caps/points is fine as it's only the drive gear that I need.

Let me know what you have... or where I might find it.

Badluck, you know these are pure old school race carbs only..? Absolutely useless on the street, and very expensive, no idle circuit at all, I sold a set of these last year...

Still in search of an ardmagneto or rc distributor setup in good working shape. Doesn't have to look perfect it needs to work. I'm told they can be 300$ to rebuild if the spark is weak. Maybe thats an exaggeration but I'm looking to bolt on, time and go on a vintage drag style build. Not looking to spend a fortune but I know they aren't common either

Please let me know what you have or any leads

sorry the carbs are not the die cast models. It are the very rare sandcast models which Type also used on the original CR750 racers.

Hi,

as many of you may know I've recently changed the entire front fork of my CB750, so I'm selling the one I'm not using anymore.

Front fork (front tubes + steering plates)

It's a 38 mm diameter front fork, an original aftersale part by Marzocchi.
It's one of a kind piece, ultra rare, specifically made by Marzocchi for our beloved CB750 four.

It has been fully restored with new tubes (worth alone 200 €) and oil seal.
Comes with original steering plates by Marzocchi, identical to original Honda steering plates, so it is possible to install the original instruments.
The lower steering plate has been grinded by previous owner, I guess to remove the steering bearing. It does not affect functionality at all (tested on track as well).

Price: 650 €

Original front calipers

Original front calipers (brake lines and brake pump not included), with some racing modification.
The mounting holes have helicoils, so they can be fixed to the fork without using additional nuts.
They have been restored as well, with new oil seals. Brake pads have a solid 80% of material still to be used.

Price: 200 €

Voxonda's steering plate

Made by Voxonda for the fork above, 25 mm offset, 38mm fork diam, fork distance equal to steering plates. Billet aluminium. (steering bearing not included)

Price: 150 €

Clips on

Made in Italy by Menani. Some scratches and one is slightly bent, but still in full working condition. Inclination 10°

Price: 50 €

Original front disk

Original front disk, professionally drilled. (Sorry I still have to do more detailed pictures)

Price: 150 €
