Sending PM on those 65's.

Passing on the 65's. Just found a brand new set of forged Wiseco's I forgot I had.

Ya'll probably already know this, these JE 65's Billy has for sale will make good compression even in F2 heads.

Anyone have a cb750 based road race frame and/or associated parts hanging around.  Seeley, Rickman, etc.  I'd doesn't have to be pretty, even damaged frames or parts could interest me.  I'm pretty handy with metal.  I'm seriously considering putting together a race bike for USCRA heavyweight Supervintage class.  Basically, up to 945 cc and from stockish up to full kitted period correct race bikes.

Let me know what you have or where I might be able to find some good stuff.

Thanks,

George

voxonda,

Thanks, but I was more asking about aftermarket race frames.  Like a Seeley or Rickman frame.  Nothing space age or super valuable, but a nice hand made tube frame with quality steel and hand welded by someone who made a solid effort.  Nothing against factory cb750 frames, they are tough, and plentiful, and can be made to perform very well.  I have several to choose from.  But I would enjoy owning, and racing, a vintage race bike with a proper hand build frame.  More of a pride of ownership thing than anything really tangible.  ;)

Post a wanted ad in AHMRA swap meet (classifieds) as well as in WERA classifieds. Something might shake loose.

What about getting Denis Curtis to make a continuation of the SOHC frame he made in the early 70's.  It was a mono shock. ;)

No problem George,

Why not make yourself a EGLI frame. Relative easy and so much lighter than both the Rickman and the Seeley.

Cheers, Rob

A lot of those Seeley's & Rickman's were broken and gone. A replica is usually acceptable, and Denis is one option if you choose this route.  www.cmrracingproducts.com.

NYC Noton gets some KILLER ones.
They are in NJ....

I am in serious need of a new Dynoman billet 315 or 327 grind cam.  Does anyone have one on the shelf that they are not currently using.   Apparently Dynoman is out of them at the moment and Mike Rieck is ready to assemble the rest of my 1000cc motor :) :) :).  An NOS original RC 315 or 327 cam would also be fabulous, or ....possibly a VERY lightly used one.  This is going in a very carefully built motor meant for street use, so he is understandably reluctant to put an even mildly worn vintage cam in such a "fresh" motor.

That's why I'm so glad Mike is building this motor, he's very resistant to use second best parts.  Thanks Mike ;)

Who is building seeley replicas?

There's a guy in the UK named  Roger Titchmarsh, he is the only one that has the rights to make the Seeley frames, I think he's a friend of Colin Seeley. I think his company is Roger Titchmarsh Racing... ;)

Check out NYCNorton.

I'll check them out thanks.

Does anyone have a repro CR750 parts hanging around.  Tank, seat, front fender, combination inner fender oil tank, etc.  Fiberglass Air-Tech stuff would probably work.  I'd be a little paranoid using a hand made aluminum fuel tank at this point.

I have a seat here, George.

Never used mounted once for size. Only 1 light spray of orange to check color.

I desperate need of a 69 mm headgasket, prefer 1.2 mm thickness.  Anyone?
