Johno, just an FYI... Your postal service attempted delivery of the Shelby-Dowd wheel today. You might need to get in touch with them so they don't send it back to the US. Thanks again! RR

Tricky Ricky Racer the wheel arrived OK, looks in great condition  ;D, as you said it is almost identical to the HA. ;D
You made my day greay wheel great price ;D , thanks Ted PM sent

As I get closer to the end of the project you forum blokes have really been a big help with parts from this thread, Rob at Voxonda, Bill, Mike, Peter, Bear and others in the early days.   To be honest my project would have faded into a rat roady without the inspiration of the forum members to keep on track, providing services and advice from all over the world.......I literally find it absolutely amazing.

Just in case I finish the project , get all excited and forget...... ;) ;DThanks men

I'm looking for a boost retard ignition for my sohc and I'm considering the msd mc4, wondering if any one has used that setup or what a good alternative would be.

Jim F just installed a MC4 on his turbo project and is in the process of programming his ignition timing i believe. You can go on MSD'd powersports division website and download their instructions for installation programming for the MC4. You can set up different files for whatever parameters you want the controller to do and then upload them to the MC4.

Also looking to do trades on my KH super F cam (for something a little less agressive):

Do you still have the cam? I don't have a suitable trade for it, but I would be interested in buying it . Regards Greg "H".

Hey Guys,
I'm after a set of HiPo carbs for my 400f drag bike.
Let me know what you've got or what works well.

Hi Adam, the usual options for 400fs are either Keihin CR26's (quite expensive) or to have the standard carbs bored out (it's not easy finding anyone who'll do that however) - I've also heard of CR29s being used, although seems pretty big to me. You could also try member Rudi on here, he was experimenting with using CV carbs off a ZXR400 a while back & that sounded very promising.

Hi Tim, I priced a set of CR26's they are quite expensive. Do they clamp straight to original intake rubbers? I thought about CB500 or F2 carbs but custom intakes would be in order and don't really want to stuff around to much. If anyone has a set of CR26's they want to part with please let me know. I do like the idea of getting the standards bored out.

Anybody interested in an RC header (no megaphone). I will be coming into one 12/26 as partial trade for some work. I don't need it but figured somebody here could use it.

Does the header go down the center of the bike on the bottom or does it hug the bottom frame rail?

If I remember correctly it hugs the bottom right frame rail.

Have a 900cc Henry Abe kit a friend traded me.  Bought a mildly hot cam.  Will the stock rods be adequate with 900cc and the new cam or should I try to find some HD rods.  That said, is this an impossible wish?  Looking for a set of used but still good aluminum single cam 750 connecting rods.  Thanks for your help.

Johnny I would look into steel rods rather than aluminum rods.  Corrillo rods if you have the money or steel Super Rod from Ape and/or Cycle X if you can get them to answer you.  I am running Cycle X super rods in my 836 and 970 motor.  Also search on here about aluminum rods and steel rods...there have been some good discussions about them, most say stay away from aluminum rods especially if you dont know there history or run time on them. You will get more responses on this in the hi performance forum rather then the for sale forum.

Most expert opinion is that anything over 836 and you should use better rods and steel over aluminum, myself, even with an 836 i would use at least Cycle x super rods, Ape sells them too as mentioned above, the outlay for better rods will be a lot cheaper than fixing a motor thats dropped a rod, been there, done that.... :o

Send me your email address and I'll forward some pics. The end of the colector system had a dent in it ( the fella I got it from bought it put together. I got 90% of that out but several low sections good be filled with braze. Some small dents on 2 & 3 as the bike had a Windjammer on it (with what turned out to be 550 forks ). Very symmetrical dents and could also be filled with some braze. It is a solid unit. I'll give you a very good deal. If it was blasted and ceramic coated inside and out it would last a lifetime.

It did...my oldest son came home and I forgot to get the pic. I'll have him walk me through the pic process for the Mac again. It was much easier on my old Windows lap and card reader. Mac are supposed to be so user friendly but they are not in a variety of cases.
