It was in a drag bike engine in PA.
The bike was a Sandcast, but the motor was not a sandcast.

Had the RSC rods and yoshi pistons.
I removed the crank from the cases so no shipping drops.

I'll dig up a straight down shot of the crank.
A fair bit of material has been taken off.
I can't see how any more material could be taken off and it still function as a crank.

Nothing looks damaged, broken, worn, or anything else negative.
It is a used race part.

It is a nice piece.
You know you want it...lol

I'm selling one of my big bore CB750s to fund finishing my '69 sandcast CR750/ MRieck 1000cc project....

The bike for sale is a reasonably well built '76 cafe with a 900cc kit and with plenty of 'performance' goodies.

Not my part, but interesting none the less.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Honda-CB750-Cam-Chain-Guide-14611-300-970-/150502147827

EBay will bite you in the ass if you're not careful!

Motogrid.com for 20 bucks. New from Honda and definitely NOT obsolete.

Jerry, That guide on eBay is a genuine -970, CR750 Kit part. If you are anal and just have to have the genuine piece, it is probably the last one on the planet. However, it is essentially the same as the newer long guide for $20.

Ohhh, I missed the -970  :o Wonder if he knows? He mentioned all the bikes EXCEPT the CR. I sent a message telling him they are available from Honda for $20. Can't imagine anyone buying that and actually using it.

Hey Steve,

I've just put up a post on the CR750 thread asking whether its a good idea to use a sandcast engine in CR750 build, I'm in the mindset that that's what was used back in the day - it appears you have the same views. Please drop me a PM so we can have a chat! Thanks, Justin.

Pm me a price youd like to get for the parts you have. I'm always interested in anything Drouin. Also have some Cams,836 pistons, and a few Hipo heads for trade too

Already listed up this stuff in the H-matic section, but just in case anyone here wants the stuff (bought it for this use), have a ghetto setup to run a CB750 in a boosted setup.

> H-matic pistons, will fit 750cc, would also work with the 550cc for a low comp gentelmen's expreess, 9k mileage, drops the compression ratio to ~8:1 with no basegasket by my calcs.
> H-matic rods, same as stock late 750cc but much less stressed, off a motor with 9k miles, come with bolts/bearings.
> H-matic crank, no mains, rod bearings still on rods. 9k on the clock, journals are clean.
> Poor mans CR750 HYVO primary drive conversion setup (stock SOHC4 primary drive, GL-1000 drive gear, GL-1000 drive chain, you'll have got use the cycle-x tensioner).

Also have a spare set of SOHC gears to go with this setup if anyone wants to push some power through them. Can get them "glass beaded for inspection" but I don't recommend it.

I'll also throw in a small Garrett T25 turbo that needs a rebuild and a POSA carb into the mix if someone wants a truly budget SOHC4 turbo setup!  ;D
