I am still collecting parts for my CR750 project. I have just bought a set of original CR31 carbs.

Does someone know if it is possible to get a replica set of the rubber intakes/insulators who fit this carbs? I assume that the originals is to small? Or perhaps someone here has a set for sale..

I also need advise for a camshaft that is close to the original CR. Any advice?

Can't say for sure BUT was the Yoshimura Daytona cam the one they used? They are out there but I'm not giving up mine

Bill Benton may have one. You can buy a new replica from Yamiya for like $1K. Ouch.

I use the original boots to mount the CR33's on our sidecar.

I will try with a set of the original insulators. If I am lucky, there is a Yoshimura camshaft in another CB750 I bought yesterday. I will measure that one when it arrive here in Norway.

They made 2 Yoshi cams. Road Special and Daytona. They stamped an A or a B on the end. Only ID marks. THINKING the Daytona is the 'B' but I could check if need be.

Thanks, don't make much work on this at this time. I will wait til I get the bike and measure the cam and see what I find out. I hope that I can come back then if necessary.

I know that the Mega cycle cam is a bit different from the original CR750 cam, but it is probably a good replacement.

You can still buy the rubber manifolds to fit the VM29's to the Honda, there are a few places stocking them. I have a set...
