Judging intrest, Univeral Points to CDI conversion

I'm building a conversion unit for a pair of CB350 twins. I don't want to spend much money and I don't want to mod the engines. So the result is I'm using the OEM points for timing and advance since that's already designed in. I'm just making a simple driver to fire a cheap scooter coil as a replacement to the OEM coil that is giving me trouble.

I want this set up to hide under the tank and leave an OEM appearance and OEM adjustment procedure.

Any interest out there? Should I try to make a "production" run of these?

Back in the 70's I put cheap Kmart coils.(got the idea from "Cycle" magazine) on my CB350.  I used a balllast resister and mounted one coil on the down tube and I forget where the other was.  I gaped the plugs at .040 and turned it into a one kicker starter in the 20s.  Also that change improved the carburation and made the bike run very well. 
I would also check out Hondaman's ignition,  he has a very good product with many happy users.  I think it would work on your twin, but ask Mark.

I thought of those car coils but they're huge, and they're pricey these days.
I've seen cdi systems for the ohc4 but most of them have specific pick ups to take advantage of electronics to decrease maint. This means an engine mod or designing the pickup for timing and advance. All of which I'd like to avoid.
