TEXAS RIDERS, CHECK IN HERE!
« on: January 28, 2011, 01:03:30 PM »
Dallas proper here  :D

Let's see who's out there, thinking this could be a good resource for setting up rides, GTG's, or if any of the local guys need a hand wrenching/troubleshooting.

Cheers,

Kyle

Checking in, I'm in Lago Vista, just northwest of Austin on Lake Travis.

This area would be a great place for a ride as it is the east end of the Hill Country.

I will if "it" comes within two hours on Austin and not mid-week.

Can we get ALL Texas riders to check in here?

We could use this as a Texas Distribution List (email) for when we have any Meet n Eats and other stuff.

Maybe CoyoteUSP can change the title of the thread to something like "ALL TEXAS RIDERS CHECK IN HERE".

Saw a guy cruising on a silver Honda down Greenville a few weeks ago, pretty sure it was sohc. Took a serious double take at my bike up on the sidewalk, I thought he was gonna wreck it!  :D

Anybody on here?

Could have been me, on my 550F? The tank color is "zinc" color waiting for me to make a color choice. Side covers are still the stock blue of 1977.

I would like to get some local to the Dallas area riders together sooner than later. Just came across one of our own last week at Dallas Honda. Nice 550 Joe! If any of you have input to share on time and place, let me know. My email is in my profile.

Joe's suggestion... Rockers vs. Mods, http://rockersvsmods.com/index.html, this weekend might be just the type of thang to bring us all together? 5th annual event with a $100 prize to the best cafe bike. ~Jeff in Richardson

Finally got logged in.  What's up guys.  Anyone heading out to Rockers vs. Mods this weekend in Dallas?  If so, let's try and meet up sometime over the weekend.  Big day is Saturday at Lee Harvey's.  Bike show, raffle, great music.

Jeff I think that may have well been you, I do recall seeing some blue in the mix.  Do any of you guys have a timing light that can help me with my Dyna S?  I've been trying to get it right for weeks and the 12v light/alligator clip combo just isn't cutting it... Much obliged

(forgot to mention, pizza and beer for anybody willing to lend a hand, figured it would be implied  :D)

I will be at mods rockers, but I will be on my scooter(as in 150cc 2t) and not my bike. The bike is not roadworthy yet. I definitely would like to run into some of yall out there and shoot the #$%*. My name is Kevin and if I get the oil seal changed on my scoot I will be on a black Stella w/ red rims, whitewalls and pin-striping on the front.

Looking forward to meeting some of yall
Kevin

I'm here so is George. We plan to ride to Bryan/Austin and however far we can get.
Someone in Austin better have a good titty bar line because I want a pic with Godzilla and some boobies near the bike, since it wont come to Houston it needs to be a cool place that will cater to us Houston CB750 freaks.
