yamkwakhonuki build
« on: January 28, 2011, 03:29:35 PM »
mission statement: create a bike out of parts from the 4 leading Japanese manufacturers(cheaply)
parts list; Yamaha XS400 motor
              Suzuki GS550 katana frame
              Honda Xl250S triples and forks
              Kawasaki KL250 swingarm
              Yamaha TT250 tank
              Honda CB350 front wheel
              unknown origin back wheel

various other bits and pieces lurking in the dark recess of my garage, might even throw in a couple of Harley bits for balance.

that looks not to bad, I'm still kicking myself for swapping a GSX750 motor for 4 dozen beers  >:( . had to tho, had 9 bikes and 3 engines sitting around, barked my shin on the gixxer motor so it had to go.

This is what my bike started as. Right now it is a 750 tank, 550 frame, 01ZX12R forks, Harley front wheel, Ducati rear wheel, Yamaha swingarm, Indian headlight....there are other things in there as well.
