Horrific Crash Photo - Bike in Car.....
« on: March 27, 2006, 03:57:42 PM »
Hey,

Got this pic from another message board (car related).
From what I was told, the Sweedish police tour this car around to promote safe driving...

The story goes alittle something like this.
A 16 year old sweedish boy was traveling at a high rate of speed (155mph) on his newly bought Honda sportbike.
As he is ripping down the road, a motorist starts to turn out in front of him to enter his lane from a sidestreet.
Due to the high rate of speed, the novice rider has no time to react (not even hit the brakes) , and slams into the car head on.
The rider, and both passengers in the car were killed on impact. Force sent car flipping 10 times from original spot of impact.
Rider was found inside the car... :o

Crazy #$%* eh ?

I think there's a few more pics of this about, taken from different angles.
Apparently the swedes took the whole mess apart and cleaned it up (read, hosed out all the goo!!) then put it all together again for the safety campaign. :o
So, 155 mph on the road,       I'll pass on that thanks

I know its only rock and roll,
but I like it...

Bike looks more intact than the car does!

155?!?! Not something I have to worry about seeing on my 78 750...not even downhill with the wind toward a magnet factory could I pull that off! Not that I'd want to anyways....
